To the previous reviewers… don’t buy a car without driving it/​seeing it in person, and don’t be upset if you notice damages/​flaws after you buy the car… this is why there are things called «test drives,» that’s your chance to notice if anything is wrong and inspect the car to make sure it is up to your standards.
I actually enjoyed my experience at Dash. I bought a 2013 Subaru XV and it’s amazing! Marino was able to make this process exciting, smooth, and stressfree. Marino and the rest of the Dash staff were able to answer all of my questions and check/​double check all and any of my concerns. If they ever get a WRX on their lot, I know we’ll be back :)

Update — so I have in my possession paperwork showing that you were in fact in Violation of State Law, the vehicle WAS in a collision prior to me buying it — unibody damage, wheel damage, non original lights, damaged bumper that had a repaired skin on it, a repaired and painted fender, a bent radiator support, a broken engine cradle, a broken windshield washer reservoir and several missing bolts and clips on the entire front of the vehicle.
Horrible Horrible Horrible — I will NEVER return to this dealer and will do everything in my power to expose their practices. I have filed a formal complaint with the MVDB and they have turned the complaint over to the Va DMV Law Enforcement Services Division. They have been found in Violation of at least 2 Laws/​Codes and an investigation is in progress about others. Below is a copy of the letter I sent to MVDB.
Good afternoon, I would like to officially file a formal complaint on/​against Dash Motors (7599) for multiple reasons.
The first and main issue is that I purchased a vehicle (vehicle info included with attached documents) from them on 04/​03/​2015 and I have still not received any title paperwork, the spare key, the check for $ 517.19 sales tax — the $ 18.00 License Fee — the $ 10.00 title fee and the finance company has not been supplied with any of the above as well (their info is included in an attached document). I have over 30 emails documenting my continuous attempts to obtain the required documents and can provide them if needed. I have been given excuse after excuse and just today was told that the 3^rd or 4^th title and paperwork was lost by FedEx. I have been told that the original dealer had missing signatures, the auction had title issues, Va DMV lost it, Va DMV refused to process it and now again it was lost in transit.
The second issue is that the vehicle would not pass WV State Inspection due to unsafe tires and broken windshield. I contacted the dealer who did agree to and did install new tires on the vehicle. The vehicle should have never been sold with unsafe tires or a broken windshield.
Third I was sold a vehicle supposedly free of any damage or accidents. After getting home and in daylight (I live a few hours away out of state) I found that the car had indeed been in an accident and numerous lights and body pieces were replaced with after market parts. I immediately contacted the dealer and they advised they had no knowledge of this and would no longer do business with the Florida Based Dealer (which I have found out was an Auction not a dealership).
Below is a list of other items that i emailed the dealer about on several occasions. I did not push the missing antennae issue (but I have printed pics showing the antennae on the car in your lot), I have my insurance replacing the windshield that was chipped at the time of purchase, I fixed — replaced and/​or adjusted all of the lights on the front of the vehicle that were obviously replaced after a collision, I overlooked the non-​factory lenses and housings that were used and even installed upside down, I did not ask you to replace the broken windshield washer reservoir that is cracked and leaking from a collision, the bumper skin and right fender have been painted or replaced which is very obvious by the non-​factory markings, both fenders and wheel-​wells were missing mounting brackets and clips as well as the screws and bolts, the brake fluid reservoir was almost halfway empty, the tires failed WV State Safety Inspection, the drivers side seat adjustment is broken, the passenger side seat release doesn’t work and I had to install new wipers as the ones on it were ripped in 3 places and there were no valve stem caps. I understand it was sold as a Used Car however, it was also sold as never being in a wreck and as having no issues or damage (I have emails showing thats what was stated). Oh and I also had to rewire the passenger side lights because the access panel was missing and the wiring was left exposed and rubbing on the tire. I feel I have let a lot of issues slide past that most purchasers would not have — in fact I know that anyone else would have demanded that most, if not all, of the above mentioned issues and items be corrected.
Please report all of your issues, concerns and problems to the Va MVDB since they can ultimately file charges, issue citations and even suspend or revoke the Dealers License.

This dealership is a scam. Bought a 2001 Honda Accord. The car was wobbling when I drove it. So they said it is because of the irregular tire treads. It ended up being an alignment problem and the front tire was broken. Then after a year, found that the car had frame damage and the dealer has hidden it by concealing it. Would not recommend to anyone

I bought a car here in September of 2011. It was a 2003 Mustang Cobra SVT. I purchased the car from Oregon and had the car shipped here. I wanted to have a mechanic inspect the car but they pressed to me that they have the best mechanic in the entire area working for them and he went through the car top to bottom. After hearing all of the great things about the car and it was exactly what I was looking for I decided to buy it and have it shipped to me back to Oregon. The sale price was $ 23,500.00.
The car came and it was just as sweet as it looked in the pictures. They did cover up quite a bit of paint flaws with waxing but I expected as much. They did tell me that the paint was flawless as was the interior. The paint was in less than good condition when the wax job wore off.
My biggest complaint and the reasons for the 1 star rating is that the rear end on the car was completely destroyed. My first ride in the car I was hearing clunks and bangs. Scary noises coming from the rear end. I took it immediately to a rebuilder shop and they told me that the rear end was completely thrashed. They told me it had well over 200,000 miles on it and had been unsafe and needing a rebuild for some time. The seals were blown and the fluid was oozing out onto the brakes and rotors. The spider gears we loose, the bearings were wearing down the axels over ¹⁄₈ of an inch. Its obvious to anyone who rode in the car there was something really wrong. As soon as you turned a corner the entire car would shake and you could hear the spider gears grinding so hard it vibrated throughout the vehicle. I immediately called the dealership and told them of what I had found. Brian told me that there was nothing wrong with the car whatsoever and that the owner himself drove the car to work every day cause it was so nice of a car. He told me that because the owner drove the car they knew for a fact there was nothing wrong with it and the owner was unwilling to do anything about it other than refund $ 300.00. Mind you the estimate for the rebuilt rear end came to $ 3800.00!!! I was so upset.
To further the nightmare they also told me before buying the car that it would pass DEQ with no problem. I got the car here and I failed DEQ horribly. In fact they hooked the computer up to the car and was unable to take a reading because the original Ford ECU had been completely removed. Bottom line is the car would never pass DEQ again. I called in and they told me that it should pass just fine. I told them what DEQ said and they basically just brushed me off. Too bad.
Don’t et me wrong the car was a beautiful car but it was horribly misrepresented by the dealership, the owner, and the sales manager. Any mechanic or personnel who so much as even drove the car a block would know something was gravely wrong with the car.
Another major goof that led to the conclusion that this dealership was not only conniving but also incompetent was that when the car arrived there was zero, I mean ZERO oil in the supercharger. The supercharger is a $ 7000.00 unit. Even the most unskilled mechanic would know that you check the oil on the supercharger before you send the car out the door.
The worst part was the fact that despite the evidence that I provided them and that I was being very kind and respectful though out the whole process they just flat out did not care. I was obviously very upset but I stayed cool and gave them the opportunity to make it right on several occasions but they do not care about what happens after the sale.
Just so that my review is not completely one sided I would like to say that Brian, although he was unwilling to help me (or unable to get authorization from his boss) was very calm and polite during all of our conversations even though he was unwilling to acknowledge the fault of his company in spite of all the evidence provided.
Do yourselves a favor and steer clear of this dealership and their shady practices. When you get burned that bad on a deal it’s hard to recover monetarily.
