Rolfing Structural Integration is a type of body work that works with the connective tissue to free up muscles, joints and tissues to work within gravity to help the body heal itself. Ida P. Rolf, the founder of the protocol believes the body is a plastic medium and can be worked to make changes. It is usually done in a series of sessions addressing the whole body. After that the sessions can be an annual tune up. Rolfing also can be used as a one or two time fix it session.
