I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anicira. It is really easy to get an appointment. The people I’ve interacted with there are some of the nicest, most caring people I’ve met. The facility is über clean and well taken care of. Their fee for a spay or neuter are almost ¹⁄₃^rd of what my vet wanted to charge. The fees they charge for surgeries are astronomically low which may make you think the service or facility are substandard. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I’ve had my female spayed and my male neutered in the last 4 months and both have recovered with flying colors. No infections. No complications. Each made recoveries in record time. I highly recommend them to everyone I talk to.

Brought my pup in for neuter surgery. The staff was awesome and really knowledgeable. My guy is a bit skittish and they made sure to make him comfortable and had no problem carrying him in instead of walking him on the leash so he’d feel more comfortable. The pre and post operative care instructions were super easy to follow and they sent him home with pain meds and an e-​collar to prevent issues. The location is pretty easy to find and is clean and organized. I was able to utilize a coupon so the surgery was almost half of what our regular vet charged. Scheduling was done via email and with no issues whatsoever. Check in and check out were both quick — I was in and out in under ten minutes each time. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for future services and am grateful to them for taking such great care of my guy!

Excellent service, knowledgable doctors, affordable price. Our kitten’s eye was injured by neighbor’s cat. We went to a animal hospital near our house and they ask for at least $ 1000. A friend recommended Anicira Veterinary Center to us. People who work there are very friendly. The surgery was successful and only cost us $ 350. Definitely recommend this place to other people.

Came in for a follow up appointment after we noticed our dog’s incision might be infected. They were SO nice about me bringing her in for a quick peek, gave me some more antibiotics, didn’t charge me for the exam, and sent me on my way. I encourage others to consider donating to Anicira, they do amazing work!

We truly appreciate the care that our cocker spaniel received here. We were also thankful for the prices. We saved at least $ 150 from other veterinarians. We got a teeth cleaning, X-​rays, and two masses removed for under $ 500.

I brought my dog here for routine shots. They were kind enough to see me the same day I called since they didn’t have appointments available until the following week. I regret making the decision to bring her to this clinic as there cheaper prices don’t amount to the negligence and unprofessional-​ism. They did not take preventative measures to keep my dog and the vet safe. I guess they trusted that my dog wouldn’t bite, as she has no history of being aggressive or has ever bitten anybody before. They didn’t place a muzzle on her before administering the shots on her, which is an obvious manner of provocation to the dog. Anytime an animal feels provoked, its natural instinct is to protect itself. Afterwards, they did place a muzzle which was not appropriately fit and too large for my dog. They did not inform me of the incident, rather they called and left a voice mail informing me that «the incident was reported to animal control» What incident? I was never made aware that there was an incident while I was present at the clinic. I think it is pretty important to inform the owner of the pet that they had bitten somebody. At the end of the day these are so called «trained professionals» that should be AWARE how to handle a dog correctly, and should be able to notice signs of distress in order to avoid an occurrence. I am now deeply concerned what kind of trauma my animal received. Did they hit her? Hurt her in a neglectful manner? I asked if they had cameras, because I would like to have proof of how the event happened. They stated they had 4 witnesses, which could also be translated into 4 accomplices. The woman I spoke to did not want to answer my questions and was very unprofessional. I believe the whole situation was due to negligence. I will be taking my dog to a clinic with accredited vets, who are not negligent and are professionally trained to handle dogs in a correct manner. Yeah the prices are great… But the unprofessional-​ism and neglectfulness would explain as to why charge such a low fee. In order to avoid future occurrences this staff at the Manassas location should be trained, correctly, so the vet’s nose stays intact.

Great place, super friendly and helpful staff. So glad we took our baby here for spaying and decidual teeth removal. She was bouncing around the very next day (despite our efforts to keep her calm). She was eating normal the morning after the surgery and her incision healed perfectly. If you are considering this clinic, don’t think it twice. These guys and girls make an amazing job by offering great quality service at fair prices. Also consider donating so they can continue doing all this.

Our dog’s normal vet quoted us a lot of money his neuter surgery, so I was so glad to find out about this clinic. I was really impressed with all the positive reviews so I decided to make an appointment with them and I’m so glad I did!

I just had my 17 year old cats teeth cleaned here, and am SO grateful a resource like this exists in our community! I was quoted nearly $ 800 for tests and cleaning at her regular vet, and when I called around most would not see her at all due to her age. While certainly old, her dental health is important– I was worried about some broken teeth she had and her mouth looked terrible. She got labs, her teeth cleaned, and even x rays that showed the broken teeth were healthy still, all for a price we could actually afford.
I volunteer for a cat rescue, and Anicira does amazing work in the rescue and feral community to help control the cat population and keep unwanted cats from being born. They are angels.
They have a number to get donations through combined federal campaign (CFC) so if you are a federal employee, consider donating through cfc. This is a very deserving and much needed organization!

I had my cats spayed and given vaccines here a couple of years ago and it was a great experience then and I’ve continued to be impressed. The staff is very thorough and caring. The animals have their operations in a quiet atmosphere and smooth recoveries. The staff members are very quick to email you records if you need them. This is my go-​to place when I need services.

I just had my puppy spayed here. I inquired at the vet that we had been using for all her shots and puppy check ups and they advised me that it would cost over $ 600 to spay my pup.
I’m glad I found this place. My pup is under 50 lbs so her spay in all was only $ 175 plus the cost of her microchip. The staff was very nice and they even called in the middle of the day to let me know that my pup was doing well and that they found a dental issue that they could take care of for a minimal additional fee.
Needless to say, I will be finding a new vet because this clinic opened my eyes to how good my pup could have it!

I had my kitten spayed here in August. My vet was quoting around $ 400 for the surgery, which was just too expensive for me. The appointment process was easy, and they have online coupons available every month to make the surgery even less expensive! The staff was friendly and competent, which is a relief when you have the nervous wreck types like me dropping my pet off. Surgery was fine and my kitten recovered quickly without any complications. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs a pet spayed, neutered, or requiring any other basic procedure.

For what my sheltie puppy had to go through, they made the whole process so simple and stress-​free. I dropped him off at 7AM, filled out all the paper work [make sure you bring your dog’s rabies certification!], and they took him from there. I got to pick him up at 2PM.
They are very up front with all of their costs which I really liked. I got my puppy neutered, a flu shot, microchiped, and tested for heartworm all for about $ 200. My regular vet quoted me $ 500 for just the neutering! Plus the staff there were very nice and explained the process well. The only downside is that it’s a little difficult to schedule an appointment with them.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to get their pet neutered!

I have used this group for personal pets as well as the dogs that the rescue I volunteer for have saved. They do a great job! The staff is careful, friendly and efficient. I recommend them to friends all the time.

I’ve taken all my pets here they’re cheap and amazing!!! Never have had any problem the receptionist is so sweet and explains everything perfectly!!! The vets are amazing too, if I had any problem they would let me come in for free love them so much! Perfect!

Very impressed with their service! I am a very over protected pet owner of 7 year old purebred Scottish Terrier. I was having sleepless nights just thinking about this routine neuter procedure. These vet technicians were very patient with me when I had a million questions to ask. They walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. They were very kind & answered all my questions with confidence which allowed me to relax a bit. We dropped him off at 7:30 & picked him up at 3:00. When we picked him up he was very out of it & the tech carried him to the car. He slept the whole way home & through most of the evening until about 8PM. He is on day 3 and doing great! His incision site looks great — very clean — they did a great job! I would recommend this place to family & friends.

I had been looking around for a place to get my golden retriever spayed and after seeing so many good reviews, picked this place. My regular vet wanted triple what this place took, $ 125 for a dog under 50 lbs. It definitely deserves the great reviews! The staff was super friendly and seemed to take good care of the animals.
I actually had to come in the next day to get a nausea shot for my puppy as she would not eat anything and kept throwing up. Not only was my puppy happy to be back at the place they spayed her, but the staff gave her the shot and fluids without me having to wait. Now she is back to normal and eating as she should.

I was referred to the Potomac Spay Neuter Clinic by Fairfax County Animal Control. Our finances have been stretched lately, so we really couldn’t pay our vet $ 500 for a spay for our puppy we rescued. The employees at the clinic are sweet, amazing people who take excellent care of their patients.
You make an appointment, on a specific day, and you drop your pet off between 7:30 and 8:30 AM and you pick them up between 2:30 and 4:30 PM.
