AVOIDATALLCOSTS! Do not go! The very demeaning staff called the police on a nice young lady holding her hostage because she left her wallet at work and promised and begged to be let go and come back to pay the next day. It was incredibly uncomfortable and they were SORUDE to this poor lady in tears yelling at her while they called 911!!! Ok, so I haven’t even received the pedicure and I feel compelled to write a review. Came in with my niece, no appointment and said I wanted to get a pedicure and my niece is going to get a manicure. The lady asked if I was willing to wait 15 mins, I said sure. It’s been at least 45 mins and there are two people who were being worked on when we arrived and they are still being worked on while we sit here. Have not received an update. Ok… So as I’m writing this one lady came over and started doing my nieces pedicure. Used an old nail file on my niece who is 7 and didn’t even take her over to the chair to be given a proper manicure. She did it on one of the little stools in front of my pedicure station. Just sad. Oh and did I mention the water in my «bath» is room temp/cold and they didn’t ask if it was satisfactory? I’m tempted to leave. I’m generally not picky about these types of things and when I read the other reviews I just figured people were being overly picky. I didn’t go to the other nail salon down the road bc it was closed. Regret is setting in.

OMG this place is horrible, they screwed up my eye brows sooooo bad it still has not recovered. I went there before to get facial and suprisingly this girl did a great job but my nails were horrible, went second time to get eye brows done and the girl wasn’t there and this lady screwed it up which made me very very upset. I went to get facial again from the same girl and found out she quit and I said no thanks I am not letting any of you touch me ever again.

This place was anything but amazing. I went for a mani/pedi on a day that was not busy(Easter!). I am not kidding when I tell you that the woman who did my nails literally moved the nail file over each nail once. There wasn’t even an attempt to file; I thought maybe she was going to get to some serious filing at a later part of the manicure but before I knew it, the paint was on. It lasted for less than 24 hours; three of my nails are completely peeled off and only one remains fully intact without any chips. The worse manicure I’ve ever had. The pedicure was much better than the manicure although the woman who did it was too aggressive in cutting my cuticles and cut my big toe pretty bad. The people were nice enough; I’m just not convinced they know how to actually do nails.

This place is close to my home so I go there for eyebrow and lip waxes and pedicures. If I have more time I drive farther. Tee/Thuy and Helen are very kind and are always friendly to me. The place does an okay job managing my nails, but the polish they put on my toes doesn’t seem flawless, as it does in other salons(When I pay to have my toes done, I expect it to be a lot better than I could do myself). I paid $ 25 for a basic pedicure. I think the spa pedicure is slightly more expensive. The eyebrow waxes clean up the area but do not provide an arch shape like I could get from a higher priced salon. This place is okay. If you don’t have time to drive farther, this place will get the job done.

Ask for Tee/Thuy(she sits near the front). Amazing nails used to be my go-to nail salon every two weeks for gel fills. Tee was great, always listening to what I wanted, doing the complicated designs, and even mixing polishes to give me the colors I wanted. Aside from Tee, the rest of the nail techs are mediocre and care more about slapping a coat of paint on your nails than actually taking the time to file, cut, and buff your nails. I stopped going because the lack of cleanliness became worrisome. The tools looked as if they’d never been cleaned and I always had to ask that clean brushes and files be used on me. Also, there were several times when I went in for a wax… and I was told to lay down on a shower curtain on top of a massage table with a HAIRY towel on top. Not happening. After I made the request for a clean area, I received a great wax(again, Tee/Thuy is great) but I can’t patronize a place that doesn’t place hygiene at the top of its list. Bring cash for your tips — no tips on cc!

Good option if you’re in the area. Spa pedicure is $ 33(06⁄10) and has several steps, two scrubs, paraffin, cooling lotion. Tech was very nice and gentle, I’ve had more thorough cuticle work done by other places, but that often ends up in getting accidentally cut. Condition of the store is average, and while it was mostly empty, I wasn’t overwhelmed by fumes like some of the more raggedy places.

This Amazing Nails place is just minutes from where I live, but I will NEVER go to them again! I had gone to these people just yesterday to get my eye-brows done. It was a very busy Sunday for me, and I was at the neighboring Bloom picking up some groceries. A thing on my «to-do» list for yesterday was also to get my eye-brows cleaned up, however I was running late and had no time to go to my regular salon. I figured I would try this Amazing Nails place for the second time(the first time I had gone there was perhaps 2 years ago, and they had royally screwed up my eye-brows then, and I had vowed never to go to them ever again). But since I was short for time, I figured that I would try this place again, thinking that maybe NOW they might have hired some better and more experienced beauticians. BIGMISTAKE. When I walked in, I politely told the lady who came up to me that I needed my eye-brows done but I was skeptical of this place since they had messed up my eye-brows really bad the last time I was there. So I needed to know if they had someone there that was well experienced in doing eye-brows and could do their best job for my eye-brows. She went ahead and consulted with the lady standing beside her(they are Asian, and started speaking in their language, methinks Korean or Vietnamese?). Apparently this other lady(who I guess was the manager or something) took offense to the fact that I told them that they messed up my eye-brows last time I was there, and the fact that this time, even though I was skeptical, I was giving them another shot. All I wanted to know was if someone that was there would be careful and do her best job in cleaning and shaping my eye-brows. The lady was quick to mock me, seemed quite angry and disgusted with me, and told the other girl flat out that they would NOT do my eyebrows. I got a disgusting look from the lady as she yelled out a big«NO». I was quite confused as to why she had become so upset because I was nothing but polite! I was like«Excuse me, she said no?» The other girl then told me that the lady beside her said that they did not do the«best» eye-brows here, they just cleaned them up(the word«best» is in quotes because they were mocking me). I said I wanted exactly that, a clean-up. Her response: «Oh…(big pause)…OK». She then took me back into their room and started attending to my eye-brows. I let the lady attending to me know that I did NOT appreciate the rudeness and attitude I got from the other lady at the front, and she told me not to worry about it. And then she tried to engage me in random conversation about hair and highlights and other nonsensical crap in hopes to get me to forget about the rudeness of the other lady. I mean I would’ve brushed the entire thing off you know had she done a good job with my eyebrows, but when she said that she was done and gave me the mirror, I was horrified. I could not believe just how horribly she had messed up my eye-brows. I let her know VERYPOLITELY, that I did not like how she did my eye-brows and that I probably will not come back, but it didn’t seem to phase anyone of them. They were just quick to take my money, and didn’t offer some sort of refund or not even an apology! And as I walked out, the lady who had been unacceptably rude to me yells out, «Thank you and come again!»(I do not know if that was to mock me, or perhaps she had realized she was rude to me and wanted to show me some sort of «kind» gesture before I left. I highly doubt the latter). I basically gave them $ 8.00 for very rude and condescending behavior, and horrendously miss-shaped and uneven eye-brows. I could’ve found a way better use of my $ 8.00 than this. Talking about pedicures, they do a horrible job as well. They charge a good deal for their pedicures, and the service is pathetic. They don’t even have anyone there that can decently do big-toe designs either! At least that is what I experienced the handful of times I have gone them to get a pedicure(The only reason I ever went there because I was short on time and they are literally right around the corner from where we live). What woman isn’t a tad particular about her eye-brows? I mean all my girl-friends are, and when someone messes up your eye-brows in such a way that is noticeable, it really ruins everything, especially if you have an important date that night, or have other plans. I now have to wait for over 2 weeks for my eye-brows to grow back again. I know not everyone is perfect at doing eyebrows, but the condescending attitude and rudeness that I got? Not what I would use my money for. Please do NOT go there ladies. It will be a total waste of your time and money.
