Just avoid this place entirely, they charged me for things I did not need and lied to me about it, they charged my car a steering wheel rack and pinion control arm then told me that they charged me for the wrong power steering service instead of electric steering service wtf kind of shit is that how could you not know that from the get go and that’s the stupidest thing I’ve heard and when I got my paper work they charged me for a camber kit by lying to me saying it was the electric steering service doesn’t even make sense and then when the car was «fixed» the steering wheel kept popping when I turned the wheel and when I told him my bearing was making noise he tells me might of happened when getting it off the tow truck… WTF? How and then tries to charge me 400 for a new one and without testing the car he assumes all this

Overpriced services. Pretty slow as well. Everyone was nice enough but that’s not enough for me to ever come back.

Went there for $ 19.99 oil change special. Brought my own oil and they said it would be a little cheaper. Signed work order for $ 17.xx ($ 16.99+tax). While my car is jacked up, asked me if I had a oil filter and I said no. After work is done, they charged my credit card for around $ 23. Asked why and they said they had to bill me for the filter which they never bothered to disclose until work is done. So if I did the oil change with THEIR oil and filter, it would be $ 19.99. But with MY oil and THEIR filter it would be $ 3.00 more. Go figure. They said they had to charge me for the filter and at no time during the oil charge, they bothered to tell you.
Don’t they watch the news and see what is happening to VW?

This business is terrible. Completely horrible. The front office manager knows nothing about vehicles and has a very poor attitude towards the customers. He was extremely rude, short, and lied to us about the services needed and said I was wrong when it was really him that was incorrect. Then they dented my door and chipped the paint. I watched then do this to my car and they said nothing to me until I confronted them about it. They sent me to a place to fix it Paul’s Auto Body and they screwed it up even more. Now no one will fix the problem that they created. I would not recommend either business to anybody.

Of course during this HOT HUMID weather my A/​C stopped blowing cold air so for convenience I took my car to a local repair shop in Reston… They said I needed my compressor replaced and quoted me $ 1,900-YIKES! So I decided to get another quote and drove in rush hour from Reston to PTAC in Manassas for a 2^nd opinion. Dave Coates called me the next day and said, yes I needed my compressor replaced and some other major items and said it would only cost me $ 800…That’s more than 50% less than the other guys! So the moral of the story is it’s not always about convenience but about quality, honesty and competitive price…
SO WORTH DRIVING IN RUSH HOUR TO YOUR SHOP! Thanks David and your crew for always taking care of our cars! You guys are the BEST!

I am so disappointed with this repair shop. I made appointments twice for oil change and two wheel alignment and they failed to service my car. The first appointment they said that it should be done in a couple of hours. When I get there I was told that they will not be able to do it. Ok, I said that’s fine maybe they are just that busy. The second appointment I made with them was a Monday (Memorial Day). When I left my house I called first to confirm the appointment but as usual I get an answering machine but none saying that they are close that day. When I got there the shop was closed. I was so pissed off that I have to give them a low rating at Unilocal.They should have called me or anyone they made appointments on that day and inform that they will be close. What a waste of my time and gas. I encourage people who they did this to also write and give them such a low rating so they would realize their shortcomings.

Not only did they make room for my car without an appointment, they are efficient! They understand today’s economy and give you a fair deal. They know cars have unexpected cost that not everyone can pay upfront for. They take care of their customers which is rare in the auto repair industry! The man that helped me, knocked off a lot of money from my bill and said, «All that matters is that we can pay our bills and you can still put dinner on the table».

I do some of my own basic car maintenance, but when it comes to things I can’t take care of myself, I trust Precision Tune in Manassas Park to get the job done right. I’ve had multiple vehicles serviced here for tires, suspension and other jobs and they are always friendly and perform quality work at reasonable prices. You won’t get a sales vibe here; the manager David is easy to talk to about your car’s needs, and you can tell he cares about providing good customer service and running an honest business.
Tips: make an appointment — they are a busy shop with limited parking so although they try their best to accommodate walk-​ins, you’ll be better off if you can drop off your vehicle at a set time and picking it up later. Don’t bother with groupons; they always have some good discounts available on their website.

Went here today to get four new tires on my truck. Called around to several places to get tire estimates and they were 400 – 600 cheaper then everyone else. Their prices match and sometimes beat costco. Manager was friendly, helpful and I ran into no unexpected costs. The price he told me was the price I paid. Plus I get a lifetime rotation and balance for as long as I have the tires. Awesome deal! Manager also said he could install in an hour and kept promise so I wasn’t waiting there a halfway like most. They do get busy so definitely call ahead. I will go back again

I have brought my vehicles here a couple of times for inspections, routine maintenance and repairs. They are honest, thorough and very helpful.
Twice now, they have gone the extra mile (yes…that is an intentional pun) when servicing my vehicles. During one visit for routine maintenance, they noticed one tire that was installed wrong (by another autoshop). They fixed it at no additional cost.
They are overall accurate with their estimates. I have never been surprised with «extra» costs. If the estimate will change due to an issue, they will call me to discuss and get my OK before moving forward.
I do recommend calling ahead and scheduling your vehicle because they are very busy and I have found it difficult to get the vehicle in as walk-​in. Once scheduled, they get you in pretty quick.

I purchased a new set of tires from
and had them delivered directly to the shop. I called when they got there and booked an appointment for the next day. They started my car right on time and was done within 1 hour. The price was what I expected to pay — no surprises. Tires feel great! Excellent service! I would definitely go back.

I will never get my oil change here again!!!
I bought a groupon for $ 25 that includes oil change, tire rotation and top off all my fluids. They was working on my car then the guy comes back and said the last place I received my oil change messed up the thread on my oil pan and my oil is leaking, so we would need to put an over-​sized plug on the oil pan and they gave me a quote on an oil pan which is about $ 600-​$ 700 or i can save money and have the guy re-​thread it for about $ 200. I said to him i will think about it. I told him it wasn’t leaking before I got here. He showed me the incorrect screw that was put on the oil pan So I said OK whatever then. He told me the over-​sized plug will be about 10 – 15 dollars extra so I said OK. Bill came up to be $ 64.89. I told him how is that. He said maintenance fee labor fee and this and that. But I told him I bought a groupon for the oil change already and he goes ohh OK. So he deducted $ 25 from the bill. So now the bill came to be about $ 40 so I go OK paid done. Got home at about 5 pm stayed home for the night. Haven’t moved my car from my driveway. Got up next morning backed out… Saw a huge oil spill on my driveway about half the size of a qt of oil on the driveway and was like what is this!!!
Took my car back to the shop told them what happen. He goes ohhhh sorry but the plug is messed up. I go no u messed it up it was not the plug or anything. They go sorry we will put back the plug u had on there before. I go OK. Now they put the original plug on there and is leaking slowly.
My advice to ANYONE is not to go to this shop again. They will try to rip u off or blame someone else for their mistakes and not take fault for what they did

As someone who has worked in the auto industry for over a dozen years, I’m rarely wowed by service shops. Precision Tune Auto though is certainly the exception to the rule. Each time I’ve gone in, I’ve found them to be professional with top notch customer service and putting my needs above their profit line.
When they’ve recommended service beyond my requests, they have offered to show me why it is needed. They have saved me expensive diagnosis fees by starting with a visual inspection. I walk in and they know me by name, and treat me with all courtesy and respect. When I’ve required longer repairs, they frequently followed up with me at the requested time allotments.
They’ve been open, honest and wonderful. I’d recommend them to everyone and ever so glad that I stumbled across them.

Bought new tires from Discount Tire to have them installed and balanced. Had bad vibrations the second I left the lot. I brought it back the next week and the mechanic admitted that he didn’t balance it properly so he tired again and balanced one wheel. I still had vibrations. I brought it back AGAIN a month later and this time he said my rotors are bad.
I am editing this post because I found out that I was wrong and they were right, I had bad rotors. Giving them two extra stars now. Extra points because they made it right without charging me for a second tire balance

Honest guys. They definitely have my loyalty as a customer. My family always goes here and they’ve never given us grief.

went for a oil change told me to come back another day

I chose this shop as an installer for a set of tires I ordered from Tire Rack. Their installation prices were very reasonable and the staff was friendly. I was a little nervous when I saw one of their much younger technicians mounting and balancing the tires on my car. He seemed like he was in-​training. I noticed only one of the tires had wheel weights placed on it, while the other three did not. I saw the young tech. place all tires on the balancer so I thought I got really lucky and had 3 tires that were perfectly round from the factory. After everything was said and done, I took the car on a 500 mile road trip. I felt intermittent vibrations in the seat and steering wheel at higher speeds, which are classic signs of imbalanced tires. When I got back into town, I brought my car back to these guys and complained about the vibrations. They checked the balance and said everything was «fine.» I decided to take the car to a different shop near my house and pay them for what Precision Tune should have properly done the first time around. Turns out all the wheels needed weights ranging from .5−1 oz! My car now drives silky smooth and vibration-​free. I think Precision Tune needs to have their balancing machines re-​calibrated or something because they are clearly off.

I can’t believe I found an auto repair shop that is this awesome around here. I thought I’d have to search far and wide for this kind of repair service (it took me 2 years). It’s on a first come, first serve basis and they take appointments too. I had at least 6 repairs needed on my vehicle. they did it all in one stop on the spot! Even when they were busy a day prior to that, the service manager took the time to make an adjustment to my car to keep it safe. Unbelievable customer service, others have taken their vehicles there and had the same treatment for years. I am so impressed/​grateful to find a certified mechanic that does only what you ask them to, makes solid suggestions, don’t gouge your wallet (the prices are certainly reasonable because the quickness and availability of the parts are within minutes), they do EVERYTHING for your car except the transmission and paint, they are open seven days a week, and they are ALL extremely nice! This shop is the only one of their chain within a 50 mile radius. You can trust this place.
