The Atlantic Club’s state-​of-​the-​art health club includes indoor and outdoor pools, large fitness facilities, tennis courts, hiking trails, hot tubs, steam rooms, The Kid Zone, spacious newly renovated locker rooms, and The Café all located on our beautiful 44 acre campus in Manasquan, NJ. We offer over 120 new and exciting group fitness classes, elite personal training with the Shore’s top trainers, Pilates and more to enhance our members journey of health and wellness.

Our family friendly facility offers a wide variety of youth programming including sports programs located at the new 24,000 sqft. Turf Center and Parisi Speed School. Additionally we offer a wide variety of enrichment and summer camps, a full-​scale dance academy, Active X after school programs and more to keep your children engaged and active.

History

Established in 1977.

The Atlantic Club has been an innovator and national leader in fitness industry. Recognized as one of the best health and fitness clubs in the country, and referred to as «The Cadillac of Clubs» in a 1995 Asbury Park Press article, the area’s largest and most comprehensive health and wellness facility has continued to grow to include over 4,500 members at its 44 acre campus on Atlantic Avenue in Manasquan, NJ. The Atlantic Club expanded to open a 2nd club in Red Bank, NJ in 2002 along with 2 locations of the Milagro Spa.

I used to love this gym but only for the social aspect. There is too much drama here. The equipment is out dated. It’s over priced, our dated and over rated. It’s just not worth the $ 110 a month. The fitness center is way too small, there is more sitting, lounging and eating space in this gym then there is room to exercise.
The management staff are know to bully anyone who they think are training others.
I’m a personal trainer and they were threatened when I would workout with a friend. They always assumed I was taking money when I work out with a friend or partner. It’s not fun to go to a gym and constantly feel scrutinized by insecure management blood suckers. Kathy and Diane are horrible!!! Can’t stand them.
They need to seriously update this gym, get new management– maybe just knock the place down. It’s crawling with dirty creepy old men that make horribly sexist comments to the younger women. Everyone is just entitled there. There are too many social cliques instead of people actually focusing on exercise. It’s sad.

Walking into The Atlantic Club in Wall NJ on a 20 degree day is like walking into a rainbow of smiling faces and fun-​goers. This facility is more like a massive upscale community center where there is something for everyone. The natural light (including the massive skylight above the indoor pool that even has time segments or «family swim» for the little ones) here delivers a certain zen ness that I’ve only seen at Crunch on Wall St. This fitness epicenter also never crowded and the ladies licker room has its own jacuzzi. Yes, I said it, no peepers just us girls getting our spa treatments on. I see women with luggage of treatments just head straight back to the well heated sauna and actually steaming hot steam room to get their spa on for hours, so what.
I take my 3 year old son into the actual court size indoor basket ball court to shoot baskets and all we get is smiles. He wants to come here. My girlfriends want to come here with me and of course we lunch on seared Ahi salads while there is even a grilled cheese option for the pickiest eaters. Truly the best part is that I never feel like anyone is in my way or we theirs. Oh, and the trainers, go to the blind Russian chick for the ligament bending sports massage of your life.

There is nothing like their Manasquan facility in all of central Jersey in my opinion. I have been coming here for many years and have always taken full advantage of everything they have to offer, from excellent group fitness classes, to the multiple pools, hot tub, steam room, basketball court, tennis lessons, etc. It’s worth the $ 100+/month if you really enjoy using it and appreciate the sense of community there.
Once you’re a regular, you truly become part of the Atlantic Club community which includes feeling at home with the fitness instructors, trainers, and other members. I have been a member at many gyms in the past, and I never felt so at home as I have with TAC in Manasquan.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they could do a better job at replacing old/​falling apart fitness equipment/​accessories, like mats, and it would help if they switched the lockers to have digi-​locks instead of having to bring your own locks. Other than that, it is a super clean facility with towels available in the fitness areas and locker rooms, café, places to lounge and hang out… really can’t complain. This is a home away from home!

An impeccably maintained facility, Atlantic Club offers a large, well-​equipped gym, nice swimming pool, spa, and a state-​of-​the art tennis clubhouse and courts (indoor and outdoor), among numerous other options. Tennis courts can be found in three separate locations on the property. The grounds, which are beautiful, are extensive, and there is plenty of parking.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
All-​in-​all, a great place for tennis or almost any other recreation.

Nice facility with all amenities, just a smidge past its prime. Ample parking, which is good because the place itself is sprawling. We accompanied my brother-​in-​law for his «executive workout» (read: pool, sauna, spa, repeat). We dropped off the kiddos at the day care. I was underwhelmed with said day care — TVs and lax tracking of kids. But we got in 30 minutes on the packed equipment before beginning the exec leg of our journey. The girls had fun in the pool and they have nice family locker rooms. We didn’t use the racquetball or bar/​lounge, but it appears they’ve covered all their bases.

State of the art health club and fitness area. New equipment has recently arrived in the fitness room and a new indoor saline pool under renovation (opens in Sept) cannot wait!
The Atlantic Club classes are top notch and I love my trainer!
There are so many things to do, including spa, café and shop, you can spend your whole day here!!!

First of all the gym starts at $ 110 to just go to one location which is pretty crazy. My amount of stars is based in cost vs value.

Lifetime athletic up in Berkeley Heights and Floram Park is around that amount of money to but they have such a bigger Assortment of equipment including the best Precor and life fitness equipment. The Atlantic club pretty much carries techno gym which is more on the aesthetic side of things instead of the quality and ergonomics of our body. If you are looking for the flash and and an older crowd or families it is your gym but if you want to focus on fitness it is not the best jn regards to the fitness center.
It surprised me that they didn’t have more Precor equipment since Precor invented the elliptical too and are the best out there. In fact the «state of the art» center was carrying older generation models. The locker room is great, the swimming pools are great, and the Amount of classes that they have are great as well but that was not what I was looking for except incorporating swimming into my fitness routine but the amount of money that was different from my normal gym just didn’t pay off.
For families: In fact for families I brought up whether they have a channel on the television like workout world where you can monitor your kids while in babysitting. They did not which I was very surprised. Lastly which not everybody is looking for the free weight area is super small. Some of the free weight in fact it had rust on them which is terrible when you’re gripping it and then your gloves get all dirty and what not I would expect more out of my high-​class high-​end gym. There was all equipment that was not tagged as needing service and some machines were using make shift pins.

Such a lovely place to spend the whole day, it’s my home away from home. They have several «living room» areas with tv, fireplace, a restaurant, store, and a super clean locker room with smiling young girls cleaning all day! everyone is friendly and kind and helpful. You can be fat or thin, young or old, rich or not so rich (it does cost a bit to be a member here but I don’t dress like the «ladies who lunch» but everyone is
given a smile and a warm welcome. I love coming here.

This is more than just a gym! They have everything in one place!!! You can swim, lift, dance, play basketball, racquetball, have breakfast, lunch or dinner, go to the spa… and i can keep going!!! They really have it all… everything is very clean. staff is very friendly! The locker rooms are clean and spacious… Really like it!

I like it. It’s got everything you want and more in a gym. The people are nice. There is even an outdoor pool with a bar that serves food/​drinks to u at ur chair/​table.
If your looking for a place that blasts music and has kids with metal through their tongues and eyelids at the door this isn’t for you.
Lots of classes. It’s huge. They have daycare, basketball, racquetball court every conceivable thing you can imagine in the gym you want. There’s even a top rated beauty salon and a chiropractor’s office there if u want to use it.

For the price, this place is certainly not worth it. It basically is in a time warp from the early 1990s, imagine a gym designed after the set of the movie «The Breakfast Club.» Full of older snobby types who give no motivation to train hard and make gains. Seriously lacking in milfs given the demographics of this area too. Guess the cougars are more interested in the juicebags at the more hardcore gyms rather then the bag of bones who train here. I d reccomend Golds if your coming from the south, and WOW or Jersey Shore fitness shop fi your coming from the north. As for the pool privileges, your better off financing one at your own home with the dues you’d pay here!
