Cont. the unregistered cars towed out and he said I can’t do anything about it a town ordinance to get our cars info(I don’t mind giving my cars info but nothing was done about(they take year make model color of ur car also scan copies of every guests Ids) I feel safe that way but uneasy at the same time… The manager than was getting annoyed and loud when I asking about the polices and he was basically tell me to go some where else. Then he proceed to call the cops on me… Don’t worry I will not be coming back to this overpriced, 21 year old sleepover motel…

This motel makes any Super 8 look like the Ritz. The owners were very, very sweet but the rooms and surroundings were in bad shape. It cost us just under $ 300. for two nights and the cost did not reflect the atmosphere. Weather stripping peeling off the ragged entrance door, bathroom sink falling off the wall and propped up with a metal post, toilet seat loose, old funky carpeting, no tissues, no coffee in room, no iron with the ironing board, rough single ply toilet paper, TV reception issues, dark & dank shower with a faulty shower head. My wife would not even shower there. Also, if you needed to use the toilet, you needed to squeeze between the sink edge and the wall of the shower. We won’t be staying there again, despite the fact that the owner’s were friendly and nice. The motel needs a major overhaul and I don’t think the owners have the $$$ to make that happen.

Well, it was located near the fishing boat that was leaving at 6:15 am so it was ok. It was clean but very old. It was good for a few guys who needed 6 hrs of sleep before a 8 hr fishing trip. Thats about all i would consider it for

Okay, it has only been three hours since I arrived here, so it’s a developing story. The motel is definitely a 1950s style motor inn, where you park in front of your room. Please don’t say Bates Motel, even though it is that style of building. I wasn’t sure exactly where the office was, and only saw the sign after I exited that room. It’s not at the far south end – there is a sign saying«Private» there. The owner was friendly and held my reservation through a bit longer, even though my card had been changed due to a loss earlier in the week. It became no big deal but I got a good deal at about $ 81 per night. That was cheaper than the night at Red Roof Inn in Washington, PA, which I assure you is not close to any beach or ocean. It’s not far to the beach or fishing areas, but be warned that you will need transportation there. It’s not far, but it is far to walk, and there are no sidewalks. After that, you must find parking and pay for it. There is public parking near Jenkinson’s Boardwalk just off Arnold Ave. in Point Pleasant Beach but it was full on Saturday evening, even though New Jersey Transit has a station near there. I’m guessing that most people don’t use public transportation to get to the beach. I suppose I should have considered that lot for parking. I’ve been down there on a weekday and it wasn’t bad, of course. If you live in your motel room, you might be disappointed. This room is not for style mavens or interior designers. It is for sleeping. Sure, there is a flat screen TV, a microwave oven, and a mini fridge, but it is not beautiful. The dresser in the room looks like something my grandma got in the 1930s. If you need to buy something ShopRite is south of the motel on SR34. Everything else is spread out. Go to Allenwood General Store for a Pork Roll breakfast sandwich. Go to Wawa for the iced tea and hoagies. There are Kmart stores but you have to search for them.

Stayed here one night and would do it again. I dealt with Danny the whole time and he was very nice. From me calling to book a reservation to having to change it to check in and check out, he was great. The price for a room with a king bed was $ 80 with taxes and everything. That is cheap for me. The room was basic. Flat screen TV, basic cable, phone, bed, a couple lamps, small bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, mirror. Everything was really clean, which I appreciate because I do not like staying in these types of places. The only con for this place was that the walls were a little thin so I could here the tv next door. Not loud, but I still could hear it. I am a light sleeper. My date who is not a light sleeper, slept with ease. Danny was really nice when we were checking out because he made us coffee and offered us some breakfast. I would stay here again.
