Pizza was well below average. Almost no flavor. Several very odd flavored combos available but none looked appealing. Stuck with sausage, which was rubbery old and flavorless. Never going back

New to the area, decided to give this place a try. Me and my girlfriend wanted specialty type sandwiches that weren’t on the menu and asked if they’d make them for us, which they did. It got here in about 30 minutes as told and the food was delicious. Giant sandwiches(halves are pictures of the whole sandwiches we ordered) and they were delicious. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

Rocco’s special is very good with TONS of toppings. The down side is it got very soggy quick because of so much oil & goodies on top! Also the square pizza is delicious — very very thick crust but the basil is a nice touch. I honestly love Italian hoagies wherever I go, this one was no different! Did the job :) They took just about the time they quoted to deliver, but they are usually conservative with their time estimate. Take out was quick as you’d like it to be.

One of my favorite pizza places in the area. Service is quick in the restaurant but depending on the time of day delivery can take some time. Pizza is good and subs are tasty. My favorite item to order off the menu is the turkey club wrap. It comes with the most delicious potato salad I’ve ever tasted.

Whoever says that you don’t get enough in a sandwich must be confused. I got a number 4 – proscuttino,(capicola?) ham, mozzarella, etc. and I couldn’t eat more than half of the half. With the Fuze Strawberry Iced Tea, it was $ 9.04 to eat it there. I still can’t believe that the bread was so big. Now, I don’t think that this was really good bread. Give me Amoroso or give me… well, you get the picture. Having lived in Philly for 8 years, Amoroso really hits the spot. They know how to make sandwich bread great, and I don’t like bread. The ingredients were good. The difference with most places is that they try to fold everything over and it all ends up being squirted out at you anyway. This way, with the big bread, it all lies flat, so it looks as though you get less. I’m guessing that this was half a 16 inch roll. I don’t remember seeing any that big, but I didn’t spend much time at the shore or in Central Jersey. Oh, and for pizza, I was remembering that the smallest pizza was a medium – a 14 inch pie. They had slices but they looked a bit dry. In other parts of the country, I like to get a 9 inch deluxe/supreme but it wasn’t possible here. For me, and my appetite, it’s a bit much, but I give them credit for making it big, even if they haven’t made it big. Update: I finished the rest the next day. It was better a bit warmer.

Okay. Where to begin. I went here because my favorite place was closed for the day. The huge problem here is that a half a sub with turkey, salami and provolone cost me $ 11. Eleven dollars for half a sub?! WTF. I usually don’t say anything about prices but holy crap this price is absurd for a mediocre mom and dad shop. For example, Jersey Mikes I can get a quality whole sub of the exact same thing for 10.99. That’s Jersey Mikes people. Only go here if you like blowing money and or want to hear the teens who work there cry about working their respective shifts.

I can’t speak for the other menu items, but my family and I were disappointed with the buffalo chicken pizza. Little to no mozzarella cheese and too much buffalo sauce and bleu cheese dressing. We wouldn’t order that again.

I live in north jersey and when in the sea girt area or even within a slightly further vicinity, I’ll plan on Rocco’s for a sub. I can’t speak for anything else on the menu, but as far as the subs go, they are very good. The bread is fresh, light and airy. The sub meat is sliced thin enough where it melts in your mouth. I noticed someone mentioned sticking to subway based on price. Really? 5 dollar foot long? Subway sucks in comparison. Subway probably sucks in comparison to any deli, even the worst one on the planet! U get what u pay for. Anyway, back to Rocco’s. Yeah, subs are very good. I have been here over a dozen times and every time the sub is as good as the first. Consistency!

My co-workers and I ate here this afternoon. It appears the place has an issue with a large lunch crowd as they appeared flustered and even fouled up one of my co-worker’s orders pretty bad. I ordered a turkey and provolone wrap. The wrap was huge… way too much turkey on it! However, I wasn’t too happy with the price! Along with the wrap I brought a can of soda and a snack size bag of chips and the total came up to $ 14.46. That’s absolutely ridiculous! I mean really. In today’s economy who the hell wants to spend that type of money on a turkey and cheese wrap! Never again! I’ll stick with the $ 5 foot long from Sub Way!

A good facsimile of the kind of pizza you get in the New York and northern New Jersey areas. Best I’ve had from a pizzeria in this area, but there isn’t much competition. A little too salty for my taste, but I am a definite fan of Rocco’s.
