Our practice specializes in both surgical and non-​surgical treatment of periodontal diseases including cosmetic repair of damaged gum tissue. Since 1989 we have been placing and maintaining dental implants when teeth are lost, but our emphasis is on saving as many natural teeth as possible. Our promise to our patients is to always give our best to provide excellent care and results.

Your comfort is very important to us. For anxious patients we offer sedation with nitrous oxide, oral medication, or intravenous sedation monitored by an anesthesiologist. All of our rooms are equipped with televisions and CD players with headphones, so you can relax and enjoy music or a TV show while your treatment is completed. Use our music library or bring your favorite CD!

History

Established in 1985.

Dr. John Kukucka has been a practicing periodontist since 1984. He is a graduate of Bucknell University, received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and completed his post-​doctoral advanced periodontal training at The Ohio State University. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Monmouth-​Ocean County Dental Society, and the New Jersey Society of Periodontists. Dr. Kukucka served as President of the Monmouth-​Ocean County Dental Society from 2011 – 2012 and President of the New Jersey Society of Periodontists from 2000 – 2002. He is on staff and teaches dental residents at Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he is head of the Periodontics section within the Department of Dentistry, and serves on the Periodontal Peer Review committee for the NJDA. The practice was established in 1985 and is dedicated to providing quality personal care.
