What’s better than a whole weekend of fun in the snow in Sunny Mammoth! We reserved a studio in the complex online, just a few clicks on the mouse. Picked up the keys in the lock-​box at the property management office after hours, also painless. Condo was cute and cozy, definitely an older property but it was equipped with all the amenities necessary. Flat screen TV is always a plus! Especially when a bunch of girls wanna do chick-​flick marathon. :)
My only complaints are: no cooking oil, salt or pepper in the kitchen. Heater is dated and no temperature control. Where’s the aluminum foil at? how the heck do we bake «male body part» cookies w/​no alum foil?

right at this moment, i’m snowed in at la residence 4 in mammoth lakes. the condo here is pretty cozy. there is a main living room area in the bottom floor, connected to a well equipped kitcen. the upstairs loft area has one queen bed, and it overlooks the main living room area.
we were upgraded to a four star condo at the last minute. although i’m completely grateful for the upgrade, i’m wondering how cramped the two star condo would have been… this place is pretty.damn.cozy.
the location is great, as it is a hop skip and a short drive away from the local supermarket (Vons), and other local eateries. it is also pretty close to the shuttle stop that makes its way to the main village.
the other qualm i have about this place is that the heater sucks arse. we’ve kept the heater at 75 degrees, but it keeps going off at random times. we’ve been forced to keep on our uggs and our puffy vests, which means that we’re not fully comfortable while sitting here on the couches.
oh, but i must mention that keeping warm during the night is not so much an issue as there is a heated blanket available for each bed.
okay… back to the football game.
