I was very pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the male dorms (even provided free earplugs…), the bathroom and kitchen area (plenty of dishes/​cookware to share) and the overall vibe. Moreover, the big common area in this classic A-​Frame house was big and homey with a central furnace, cable tv and free wi-​fi. Carl and Maggie (on-​site owners) were very friendly and invited guests to group potluck dinners. Saw facility manager each day. Reservation/​payment process very easy/​convenient. Would make a great spot for PCT-​ers to take a break from the trail (owners gave rides to/​from TH for the two I met) and enjoy comfort/​society for a day or two!

This is the most well-​stocked kitchen I have seen around the world in a guest house/​hostel. I loved staying here, it was very comfortable. It had a cozy living room with a central fire, and a great view out the windows. A great base for field work! Management were great to deal with and very helpful.
