History

Established in 2004.

CBT was established by Chris and Sarah Carmichael in 2004. We specialize in providing high quality corporate level I.T. support and computer repair for government entities, businesses, and homes. We currently support most educational, governement and business sites in the Eastern SIerra. We strive to stay current with technology and carry certifications for most major platforms. In addition we sell computer systems and peripherals. We employ a team of highly motivated and talented individuals.

As the CEO of CBT I have been responsible for managing day to day operations of 8 – 10 Technicians, office staff and outside vendors/​partners. Grew the company from 0 clients in 2004 to over 700 at present. Established a highly reputable and professional company culture. Created hiring and training practices that allowed CBT to recruit and retain higher caliber employees than other companies in the area. Also acted as senior consultant for issue escalation when techs were unable to resolve issues in a timely cost effective manner. Managed client interactions through employee training policies to ensure CBT retained its reputation for timely skilled support through periods of rapid growth.

As Senior Systems Analyst for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area I was responsible for the management of 5 technicians and the oversight of 30 servers, over 450 computers various switching and routing equipment and any other IT related equipment in use at the ski area.
