Malvern School of Music provides one-on-one instruction on a wide variety of instruments across all Genres of music (Folk, Rock, Jazz, Classical); Our teachers are all experienced, professional musicians. We also provide tutoring services for music theory, ear training, composition, and music Technology and production using tools such as GarageBand and Finale. We have a spacious recital room and run group ensembles (Rock, Jazz and Chamber Music) in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
Our Facility provides a comfortable waiting area, with spacious lesson rooms equiped with high quality instruments and security cameras.
History
Established in 2008.
The business is owned and operated by Dave Stoltzfus. Dave worked as an executive in a management consulting firm for 30 years. In 2008, he decided to leave the corporate world and pursue his passion for music. The Malvern School of Music was established with the mission to ««To provide instruction and nurturing that enables aspiring musicians to develop their talent and musicianship to its fullest potential, so that music may be a life long joy». Dave also wanted to provide an opportunity for some of the top area musicians to generate an income teaching, and share their love for music with the local community. The School has a history of supporting community events and fund raising to help children afford music lessons who otherwise could not afford them.
