History
Established in 2006.
In October 2006, Malibu Beach Inn underwent extensive renovations, including completely refinished interiors and exteriors, the addition of the Carbon Beach Club and expanded meeting space. The renovations were designed to complement the property’s location on Malibu’s exclusive Carbon Beach.
The Carbon Beach Club restaurant in Malibu features California coastal cuisine with farm-fresh local ingredients complemented by an elaborate list of hand-selected boutique wines from vineyards in California’s premier wine regions. Malibu Beach Inn’s signature indoor or al fresco dining boast breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, serenaded by the tumbling surf below.

Manager
Chef Victor Morales has worked in the hotel sector of restaurants for 10 years, exercising his culinary chops throughout Los Angeles at properties such as L’hermitage to the newly opened LA Live Ritz Carlton. As Chef de Cuisine at the Carbon Beach Club, he continues to produce California-driven cuisine, always intent on emphasizing what is fresh, in season and local. Chef Victor employs modern techniques while keeping the plates simple and clean.
