RC Cars of Boston

I’m not a smart guy when it comes to RC but I am a guy and that means I’ll fake the hell out of it.
I drove to one place and it was so packed that I felt overwhelmed and left. This place was dead empty which was a shame as the guy working it obviously has a passion and pride in his business.
He spent the better part of 30 – 45 minutes walking me through various parts I should consider to replace on two RC I have. I’m hoping work brings me back soon so I can purchase my next RC from him-​he earned my business.

Upon moving back to Massachusetts, I found myself greatly disappointed that most hobby shop are where neckbeards gather round 6-​foot tables to deal «+1 damage!» and swap cartoon playing cards.
RC Cars of Boston doesn’t have long tables, instead they have work benches around an indoor race track and a whole bunch of RC cars and trucks for sale in many sizes (and many budgets).
It’s a very inviting environment. Paul and the other staffers are real RC enthusiasts, for example, they seemed truly interested when I showed them my latest project in asking them for some help. They really seem to know their stuff and even have some of their own vehicles on display to prove it.
In addition to vehicles, they keep a huge selection of RPM, Traxxas, HPI, Castle Creations, and Proline. (and many other brands) replacement and upgrade parts. They also stock items you normally only see on the internet, offerings from STRC, Hot Racing and others.
The name promises RC cars and this big-​boy toy store really delivers on that promise.

Here it is Monday try calling the company to have my model fixed The company hangs up before it connects leave for me to realize that this might be a scam company how does a hobby shop cell a product that you can’t even call and have it faxed it is the perfect scam you can’t even get them to answer to get parts never mind them trying to replace it like they say buyer beware !!!

Very cool place and staffs. All are very helpful. Purchase 3 RC cars in a month for myself and my son. Had a blast with all 3 of them.

Kids had a blast! Just remember to have them turn down the acceleration if you’re a first timer. More fun that way!
