Not recommended at all. If I could give a –3 I would.. Food not fresh. Felt like it was yesterday’s food. Hope we don’t get sick. Also service was poor and be sure to check the bill!

This place is terrible order crispy gau gee mein gau gee burnt and Terrible they don’t change the oil because it tasted rancid, noodles Terrible. I’ve been there before and it wasn’t good. Thought I would give it another chance. I learned a lesson. Not to go there again. Prices to high and not worth it. I wouldn’t even give it a star but to post u have to rate it.

I am a fan of their Char siu. I order a side order it at least once every other week to go. I like to pair it with stir fry cabbage I make at home.

Pukalani location is way cleaner and bigger than the one in Wailuku. I ordered the roast duck combo with char siu. It was good and tasty! Also had some of my friends house cake noodles, that was also tasty! Will definitely come back and recommend anyone who wants Chinese food in the area, to give this place a try.

This was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’d like to give it no stars. I stopped in here one evening as my son called while I was on the road and said our power was out, so I knew I wouldn’t be able to cook that night. A sign on the wall said they had Szechwan eggplant, but when I asked the man behind the counter if they had Szechwan chicken he asked me to tell him how to make it! The lemon chicken was basically chicken katsu with a bright yellow lemon sauce to pour over the chicken. The Chow mein noodles were very strange – more like fettucini noodles. The sweet and sour spareribs, at $ 15, were the worst – small cuts of fatty meat with the bone in them. Nothing like the sweet and sour spareribs I was expecting. We couldn’t even eat them they were so fatty. They didn’t have chicken fried rice but they had vegetable fried rice so that’s what I ordered – but way to many big pieces of vegetables in the rice. The menu itself seemed rather limited and I had a difficult time finding enough dishes to order. Turns out I shouldn’t have ordered anything from here! Next time the power goes out and I can’t cook I’m going to order pizza!

So they have house cake noodle and they have fried won tons. But she would not budge on making wonton cake noodles. So okay, one order of house cake noodles. absolutely the worst! The cake noodles had no flavor. It tasted like it was made yesterday. Even though they separated the noodles from the vegetables, the noodles were limp. The«house vegetables» should be renamed wonbok and cornstarch. Take my word, keep rolling! Subway or the burger joint would be a better pick.

Great Chinese Chinese food in Maui! The cha siu(BBQ pork), roast duck, crispy chicken, seaweed soup, and bok Choy all have authentic flavoring. When you need some non-Hawaiian cuisine, this is very tasty authentic chinese.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. I specifically ordered the roast duck and char siu but got sweet and soar spare ribs and char siu instead. I tasted it and it reminded me how much I hate sweet and sour sauce. I usually don’t complain about what I get I just couldn’t eat it. So I brought the plate up to the counter and nicely told them I ordered the duck and the man who seemed like the owner told me «No you order number 6» in a snappy way. The thing is I didn’t even give a number, so I told him I ordered the duck and he just kept denying it. I was in shock so I just went to sit back at my table. Seriously the rudest response I’ve ever heard. What happened to the customer always being right? There wasn’t even anyone in the restaurant, I don’t see why they couldn’t remake it. Luckily my dad switched plates with me, he got the Won Ton Mein and even that wasn’t that good. Or maybe my taste buds were just turned off by that point. Never going back.

I’m a huge fan of the loco moco, and I have to say, this is hands down one of the best places I’ve tried the dish at! A lot of fast food style restaurants just use frozen hamburger patties which don’t nearly measure up to the tastiness of a hand formed patty, which wei wei has! I usually stick to the loco moco here but I have tried the teriyaki beef noodles as well as the beef and broccoli dishes, all of which have been beyond delicious!

The guy who took my order was REALLYREALLY sassy. I usually go to the Wei Wei BBQ in Wailuku, I know the prices and what to order. I tried to order it in Pukalani, But he didnt understand. I told him I wanted the Spare Ribs. He asked if I wanted the one with the rice? and I said no just the one with the whole plate full of spare ribs. He laughed and said What? And I asked him if the one down town and there was the same, and he said it was the same. But the price he was telling me was more then I would usually pay at Wei Wei in Wailuku. And he tells me «okay, well go down there and buy then» He was such a grouch!

Ok, so maybe it was because I was starving… but I’ve had some of the best loco moco here. You might be scratching your head, wondering«what the heck is this guy talking about?» After ziplining at Piiholo Ranch, we had some time to kill before our reservation at the Hali’maile General Store. For those of you familiar with the area, there is nothing around there to kill time with. I was starving and foudn this plaza that contained a Starbucks, market, Wei Wei, and a KFC. I decided to give Wei Wei a try and was surprised to find Chinese food along with other traditional Asian and Hawaiin foods. The place was empty, so the service was quick. Great Loco Moco needs to have a combination of flavorful gravy, moist and not over cooked/dry patty, and a fried egg that is just a tiny bit runny. This satisfied all of these requirements. Seriously, best gravy I have had in a loco moco dish. The patty was delicious; packed with spices and green onions. It makes me sad that I won’t be able to come back and get this soon. I guess TNT’s in Torrance, CA will have to do for the time being.
