Pizza Fresh Makawao

Terrible customer service! Placed an order for a pizza they told me that my order would be ready in 15 mins. When we arrived to pick up the pizza an hour later, they told us «oh sorry forgot to put the order in I’ll put it in right now.» Ugh! I know it’s a small business and its hard to keep great employees but they need to have a standard for the way they treat their customers.

Must be new owners! We used to love the Pizza!
The driest Pizza crust ever and chewy!
Hardly any toppings on all 3 pizzas!
No taste a waste of money! Salads were good!
Come on Pizza Fresh you going to loose your good customers!

They serve pizza and are open and will give me easy food. I appreciate the position they fill in my Maui heart. I NEED PIZZZZZZAAAA! It’s pretty good, too. Now stop reading this and go eat some pizza!

Horrible customer service. Asked for my total after putting in a delivery order & giving my credit card info, and I got a «uhhhh… *sigh* okay well I’m gonna have to call you back if you want your total.»
And never got a call back.
Got an estimate of 45min for delivery after having to call back for my total, and my delivery ended up coming an hour and 45 min later. And on top of that, they got my order wrong.

Pizza needs to be better and cooked in a wood oven like Casanovas I did like that they use fresh pinnacle though.

This is some of the best gourmet pizza I’ve ever had! The pesto veggie is unbelievable! The team working there seemed to be having a great time, and that only improved the vibe and the taste. I felt I could taste the love in the pizza. Also, if you go, get one of their giant soft cookies. These things are no joke, and definitely some of the best I’ve ever had! I’d recommend this place to anyone!

They have gluten free pizza. That is the only reason they get two stars. Their dough needs to be cooked much longer. Like five to ten more minutes. Its unacceptable the ingredients are barely cooked. When my friends order their regular pizza they agree they need to cook their pizza longer! You cant served half cooked pizza it must be bubbly and browned to a crisp. Thank you!

Just needed a quick place to eat while in Makawao and saw the sign $ 4.99 for a pizza and salad lunch deal. I pulled in and checked it out and was surprised to see the different types of premium salads I could get with my pizza.
3 stars because all they had was pepperoni pizza at that time. Great deal nonetheless.

We noted this small pizzeria in Makawao and decided to give it a try. The pizza we ordered — spinach, roasted red peppers, portobello mushrooms & goat cheese on whole wheat crust — exceeded our expectations. We especially like the generous toppings and bright, mildly sweet tomato sauce. Definitely an upcountry winner.

The best pizza on island! The combination of their sauce and 3 cheeses they use are delish. I wish I knew the sauce recipe so I could make it at home since I don’t live around there anymore. I use to build my own pizza: a mixture of red and white sauce with fresh tomatoes, garlic, chicken, and mushrooms.

My coworkers and I decided to try out a new restaurant for lunch yesterday in the Makawao area. We decided on Pizza Fresh, which turned out to be this great little find that served us pretty «fresh» healthy dishes. I had the upcountry greens apple salad, which was quite tasty, although the vinaigrette dressing was a little on the salty side for me. My friend Sandy had a salad sandwich combo, which looked pretty tasty and my other coworker had a turkey wrap, which she just raved about.
I think that this is a great place for people to pick up a bite to eat without feeling so weighed down. I think we will be back when in the area and in the mood for something light and healthy.
