I’ve stopped in here several times over the past few years. The owners have always been extremely nice and each time I’ve enjoyed our conversations. I have made several purchases here and have always felt the pricing was fair and a good value. My most recent trip was similar to the others and when speaking with the business owners apparently the property owner has decided to rework the lease and they were unable to come to an agreement so in the next few months Robin’s Nest Antiques will cease to exist. This store is filled with some extremely nice merchandize and I can tell you from experience this is the time to visit to get some great bargains. Apparently they will not be reopening in a new location locally and may be moving to South Florida. This is very unfortunate for those of us that have shopped here.

My sister and I drove over here out of nostalgia for Radloff’s, and were pleasantly surprised to find the antique shop open. Neither of us are big antique hunters, but we ended up spending nearly an hour in Robin’s Nest! The store is much, much larger than you think — there are two rooms up front, and then it goes back for an additional two to three rooms(including those old cheese vats on the side… they’re still there, now used for display). Then, there’s also a whole upstairs area. We were given a key and permitted to wander around up there as much as we liked… people in this area sure are friendly(and trusting). The owner is incredibly friendly, and she had done an amazing job of gathering fun antiques from the area. I spent over $ 100 in this place… and got SOMUCH. I could not believe how inexpensive the items were, especially considering the quality. I got a neat old«New Yorker Magazine» paperweight for $ 4… a huge glass chip and dip server(two tier) for $ 20. I would highly recommend a quick stop into Robin’s Nest… though it might not end up being as quick as you’d expected!
