Over the years, the doctor and his staff have learned that the less fuss made about the visit, the better it is for the child. By taking this laid-​back, comfortable approach, Dr. Gordon can introduce your child to a world of proper dental care. Parents are invited to stay with their child throughout the first visit. On subsequent visits, you are encouraged to let your child venture into the exam without you, thereby gaining independence and developing a personal relationship with the staff. Michael L. Gordon, D.M.D. opened his office on July 1, 1975 after graduating from the Kentucky College of Dentistry and completing his residency for two years at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Business Owner

Dr. Michael L. Gordon is a native of New York state. After attending the University of Pittsburgh for undergraduate education in Biology and Math he attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Gordon spent two additional years Post Doctoral Training at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital earning his Pediatric Dental Residency degree. He has been a member of the Attending Dental Staff from that time forward. The program is nationally recognized for providing hands on experience to Pediatric dentists who treat infants, children and adults with special needs. The program is hospital based and provides a in depth nationally recognized training in Operating/​Surgical Room Pediatric Dentistry.

To stay current with the newest advancements in the pediatric dental field, Dr. Gordon remains committed to continuing education. This involves taking advanced courses in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, conscious sedation, and many other topics while still in practice.
