The place was pleasant with good staff and shuttle van. Was disappointed in departing that no cart was available to load up our luggage. The man at the front desk didn’t bother to look or send someone to help us. I checked on all of the floors and took several trips to load our luggage. I mentioned to him upon leaving that I should not have to do his job. He knew what I was referring to and asked, «what was that?». I said he should know and he could read it on Unilocal.Rule #1: Help customers!

First room we got smelled like something got wet and was never dried properly. Second room didn’t smell but had paper-thin walls. I was able to hear a couple break up through the wall. I also heard the band play all night next door at The Mason Jar. Left my iPhone charger there and of course«no one found it». Then to top it all off i was charged twice for the room which was super pricey for not being in a populated area. Don’t recommend.

The rooms are very nice. The staff were very helpful. They only downfall was that the hot tub was not working. After a long drive and a long day we were looking forward to the hot tub. NOPE out of order.

For a 2-star hotel, this place deserves 4 Unilocal stars! I thought this hotel was great. Indoor pool with a perfect water temperature, free breakfast with many options, complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate all day and night, laundry room, and big parking lot. They had it all at this hotel. Breakfast is from 7am to 10:30am, which is good amount of time. There were plenty of seatings during the morning rush hour breakfast time. The only down side about this hotel is that the gym is small. My family and I got two rooms. One room had a mini fridge and microwave. The second room did not. Which was okay with us. The room I was in was a bit cold. But it seems to be common because there was a small portable heater in the room when we arrived which did keep the room warm throughout the night. The rollaway cot was already in the room when we arrived, which was awesome. For our two days stay, we had no problems.

Fairfield is a relaxed and easy place to spend the night in the region. The rooms are well provided(good tv options, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker) and the bathrooms are spacious. A big tub to use for bathing and the water pressure is great! Plenty of towels and supplies(shampoo, conditioner, bath and facial soaps). The bed was very comfortable! Easy parking and the hot tub and pool are wonderful. A small gym with two treadmills, an elliptical, and some free weights next to pool. Front desk clerk was kind and there was for sale art all along the hall ways. A great place to stay.

All the Fairfield hotels I have stayed at so far have been great. The place is clean and the staff has been very friendly. I am not sure why this got such low ratings overall. I have had no issues so far. As to the people complaining about the breakfast… It’s a free breakfast. I think people’s expectations are way to high. This is not a 5 star hotel. It’s a nice added bonus.

Requested a rollaway cot since we were two adults and two children in a room with a single king-size bed. Staff were unwilling or unable to provide it. As others have noted, the Mason Jar bar and restaurant across the parking lot has live music and it is v-e-r-y loud late into the evening, even across the expanse of pavement and up to the third floor(room 328) where we were. The lack of non-slip safety shower treads together with extremely soft water mean this hotel is one personal injury away from a very costly liability suit. Needed a safety pin at one point in our stay. Front desk staff had no sewing kit, etc.

I stayed here for work for a week. It is good. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. My heater stopped working the first night at like 2 in the morning so I ended up sleeping under 2 bed covers. The staff fixed it in the next day. The free breakfast is simple but there is a decent variety. But, the same items are served every day, so if you stay here for more than a few days, you better like Fruit Loops, bacon, eggs, bagels and very sweetened orange and cranberry juice.

Adequate. Nice little indoor pool with a hot tub. Clean rooms. The worst«free breakfast» possible. Juice machines ran only water, there was a small refrigerator with items you could microwaved, if you want to stand in line for your turn at the microwave. At least the waffle machine worked.
