We are unique in that we provide a very professional, personal, hands-​on service that is customized specifically to each individual client to make their special day be fun, exciting, and memorable. Our DJ Entertainment Services will reflect each client’s individual personality and style.

History

Established in 2006.

I have been a professional musician since the 70’s and have played all around the Houston area; I have always had a passion for music and entertaining an audience. I have been providing DJ services for the last 4 years, since then we have entertained guests at Wedding ceremonies, Wedding receptions, Wedding anniversaries, Corporate events, and Birthday parties. DJ Dave Productions utilizes commercial grade Professional Audio systems complete with back up equipment. No event too large or too small. We bring back-​up computers with complete digital music library for redundancy.

We offer a very personalized mobile DJ Service to meet your needs. Although the music is a very important aspect of the event with regard to a wedding, we believe that the bride and groom are the focus of the evening not us. We meet with our clients to discuss all relevant details for their particular event.

I have a burning passion for music and the DJ business, there is no one that knows and understands music, how to read a crowd and create excitement like I can. I love doing DJ work.

DJ Dave was amazing!
I had interviewed MULTIPLE DJ companies in the search for a DJ for my wedding. None of them compared to DJ Dave. Even the bigger, more well-​known places lacked the personal charm and care that DJ Dave provided. I went to one interview and the DJ was late, at another interview the DJ had the nerve to tell me that he almost cancelled a DJ gig to go to a concert he wanted to see… ummm… that is not something you tell someone who is looking to book you for a «gig.»
From our first meet-​up, I felt like DJ Dave was interested in my wedding and making the day perfect for me. Never did I feel rushed or like I was another customer. DJ Dave listened to what I wanted and helped make suggestions when my husband and I were at a loss.
We went with DJ service, up-​lighting (I felt like I walked into a purple majestic land of wonderfulness), «Walking On a Cloud» (which I highly recommend for all you ladies out there that want to feel like a Disney princess dancing in the clouds or who just want their feet hidden because they are not the most graceful dancers), a personalized GOBO monogram, but the best thing that we did with DJ Dave as an extra, the PHOTO BOOTH! This was the best favor /​entertainment I could provide my guests.
At one point I looked at the dance floor and noticed it was empty only to realize that there was a line for the photo booth because groups of people wanted in on the fun. The best part is that everytime someone took a picture the photo booth attendant would put it in an album and the guests would sign it. So it served as my guest book and favor!
I had multiple people come up to me and tell me that the DJ was amazing and set the mood perfectly, from cocktail hour to the last dance.
If you want to make your wedding memorable and with no stress, DJ Dave is definitely the way to go!

I used Rachel Osterhage for my wedding coordinator and she was amazing! She did everything from my table layout, timeline, contacted various vendors, made sure everything was setup/​brokedown etc. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. My wedding day went flawless because of Rachel. She stuck to the timeline and made sure my groom and I were happy/​taken care of the entire day/​night. I had the most amazing wedding all thanks to Rachel! I also need to thank Liz, she was also around the my entire wedding day and before that as well. I definitely recommend using Rachel. I honestly didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day, they took care of everything and everything was perfect ! Thank you Rachel & Liz!

Everyone we met here was just amazing. I cant say enough how awesome Dj Dave and his crew are. We met them at an open house event hosted by Amber Springs and were just blown away by them. They were so friendly, genuine and all around amazing people to work with. From the initial meeting, to emailing finalization details with Ashley, to meeting and working with our DJ, Charles. Ashley made everything with them smooth sailing, even in my times of complete chaos for us.
The set up was GORGEOUS. The up lights were perfect along with our GOBO. The quality of their work and products are awesome. Our DJ, Charles, was just an amazing man too. He was very attentive, professional and the nicest man. Our day went so smooth because of him. I am so lucky to have found this company for our big day! They really have everything down to a «T» and I couldn’t imagine how it would’ve been went with any other company. Thank you again guys! You’re the best!

I have never had more fun dancing than at my wedding. I had no idea what to expect, but I have never been to a wedding with as good of a DJ as we had and where people actually danced! Picking the music was the hardest part. Trying to think of every song you’ve ever liked or loved dancing to is exhausting, but they totally filled in the gap with some awesome party songs and everything was clean. So much fun and it was not hard at all to get the party started either, everybody immediately got into it, and it was easily the most fun I’ve ever had dancing. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars, is they weren’t perfect, and a few mistakes were made. I’m pretty sure one or two songs on my must-​play list didn’t get played, but it was two years ago, and I was unfortunately still taking some pictures and missed out on the first part of the dancing, so maybe I just didn’t hear it playing before I got out there, however others said never heard the songs played either. But at the end of the night, I totally didn’t care that they didn’t get played, because we had so much fun anyway. Also, I believe they either played the wrong part of my husband’s garder throwing song or something else went wrong with it, I can’t remember. He was a little upset that it got messed up after having it all planned out in his mind, but again like I said, nobody noticed or cared really after all was said and done. I would definitely recommend them, and it was so worth paying for a DJ, because without them, I don’t think our wedding wouldve ended as awesome as it did! Lastly, I was a little dissapointed with the voice-​over messages during the first dance, Daddy-​daughter dance, etc. I thought that they would put the voice recording WITH the music, so you could hear the message while the song was playing. Instead, the message was played before the song started. It wasn’t that big of a deal though, because at least we got to hear the whole song I guess.
Anyway, nobody’s perfect and, aside from a few minor, non-​important (to me) mistakes, they were wonderful!

Awesome wedding dj. DJ Dave actually met with my husband and my mother to talk to us before even booking. Then the DJ that was actually going to perform at our wedding (Jacob Kelly) met with my husband and myself. Jacob was amped from the get go. During the reception he kept the party going and everything ran smoothly.
On the day of Jacob actually showed up with some lighting that we didn’t expect which was awesome. I also had bought glow sticks for everyone to wear and Jacob and his assistant were very helpful during the reception to break the glow sticks and get them together for the guests! I definitely recommend him for any event!

DJ Dave was fantastic! My husband really cared about having a great party for the reception, and we knew a great DJ was key. Dave was more than happy to try some new ideas of ours (snowball dance — highly recommended) and brought lots of fun ideas to the table to make the reception fun (not an empty dance floor all night). The shoe game was a hit, and we just had a fantastic time. DJ Dave was incredible with email communication, made the reception look great (had gorgeous up-​lighting, set up the gobo in a great place), and honored his word to the letter. Thank you, Dave!

Working with DJ Dave was a tremendous experience. We gave him a general direction of what we wanted and he delivered everything and more. DJ Dave played the right music at the right time and kept the night flowing with perfect harmony. Our wedding day was very chaotic, but DJ Dave went with the flow and directed things exactly to our liking. He also provided an exceptional lighting package that really made our venue pop out and look amazing. We cannot recommend DJ Dave enough and thank him for making day truly memorable.

DJ Dave was wonderful! We hired him for our wedding this past Saturday and he stayed on track the entire night. He played our playlist and even talked to the couple that was leading our Grand March beforehand to make sure everything was running smoothly. He’s a fantastic MC and was great with all our guests. DJ Dave did an amazing job of building up the energy throughout our reception and end on a big note… which was impressive considering it was a 7 hour reception!

DJ Dave is a great DJ to have for your wedding! They were our DJ for our wedding and they did a great job with the music, MC, and lighting. It’s a good overall package for the price. They can customize basically anything to match your wedding themes and what you want for your music. They also provide lighting logos and «disco» lights for your dance floor.
They also have this online program where you put all the music you want them to play at the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception, you name it they are prepared and have it.
The up lights and the disco lights were so pretty and adds a nice ambiance to your venue.
My husband and I were very pleased with the service and they were very attentive.

I really cannot say enough about how great David was from our first emails/​meeting until the last dance of the wedding! I was really nervous about selecting a DJ for our wedding, mostly because I had been to a few weddings recently that were less entertaining because of the entertainer (s). DJ Dave is extremely personable and put my mind at ease right away. He’s very responsive and checks/​double checks that everything is in order for the big day. He was wonderful at annoucements and helped greatly at keeping things during the reception on schedule. The music selections were perfect. If he played a song that he noticed no one was really interested in dancing to (of which I only heard one) he faded out the song and faded in a new one seemlessly. I highly recommend his services to any bride looking to keep their mind at ease about reception entertainment! Wonderful!
