No longer a Salvadorean place. The new place is a burgers and tacos restaurant. When we asked if they still had pupusas their response was «what are pupusas?» Oh no!
Luckily there is still another Salvadoran place in Madras called LA Salvadorena which is good. Nice ladies in there, don’t speak a lot of English but the food is very reasonable and tasty.

Unbelievable Food! My mother in law is from El Salvador, and I have the pleasure of having her food often. The dishes here are LEGIT! Very authentic and very tasty. Every time we come through madras it’s a must stop. There’s never a lot of people here which really surprises me. The food is fresh and delicious, the owner at the counter is very polite. You WILL not find better papusas anywhere else. I recommend the Pastelitos, their phenomenal. Hopefully the locals catch on soon!
