About Walden Vocal Studio
Amanda Walden Vocal Studio is a Huntsville, Alabama-based voice studio (with an additional Dallas, TX location) serving students of all ages and abilities. Most students join the studio in preparation for auditions, performances, solos, and other special events. College students work with Amanda to maintain vocal health and good vocal technique while in school. High school students work to prepare for All-State choral auditions or or to prep for college music program auditions. Adult singers study with Amanda because they find music a wonderful outlet of self expression. Repertoire covers a variety of styles from classical and musical theater to jazz and pop.
Amanda guides her students toward a healthy vocal goal through providing a relaxing environment that encourages healthy vocal technique, confidence and strong musical skills. Having recently earned a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Belmont University, Amanda has extensive experience in vocal pedagogy studies though the Belmont vocal pedagogy program and the Vanderbilt Voice Center in Nashville, TN. She previously taught Music Theory and Ear Training Fundamentals at Belmont University under the guidance of Dr. Richard Hoffman. Amanda is committed to empowering singers of all ages.
