Dr. Pollan completely ruined my teeth. Let me just leave a note for all people who live downtown and are away from their families and parents, living on campus: There is a reason he is conveniently located where he is; to catch students off guard and destroy their perfectly alright teeth with «all new fillings needing to be replaced» (classic dentist move to grab a buck from new patients)… I had so much unnecessary dental work done at this awful practice, now all work that I will live with for the rest of my life, and I am only in my 20’s. I would give this practice a zero if possible; do not trust this dentist. Coming from experience at this location, for the love of pete, PLEASE, get a second opinion before you let him near your teeth. Again, remember this about his business: perfectly located in an area of town where he understands young undergrad students are away from home and has the opportunity to create whatever story he can so he can make a profit — knowing young students have no idea what is going on with their teeth. Do not make the mistake I did. After thousands of dollars later and a mouth full of unnecessary work that has been done get at least, a second opinion before entering into this trap. It is SO hard to find someone you can trust with things like this; don’t let him fool you with his laid back, «cool» demeanor and friendly approach. *AVOID*

I’ve been going to University Square Dental for years and I’ve always found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They’ve always been there for me in an emergency, and I like their straight-​forward approach to dentistry. Plus they’ve got an unbeatable location. I’d recommend them to anyone.
