Our main focus is on residential Blacktop Driveway Replacements, Asphalt driveway replacements, Concrete Driveway Replacements and Patios. We also offer our customers the option of concrete raising or «mudjacking» their concrete instead of replacing it with our «Mudjacking» division. We are a family run business that has been a trusted name in Dane Co for over 19 years. We are fully insured and licenced and all our estimates are totally free. Established in 1992.

The Concrete Company has been proudly serving the greater Madison area since 1992. Originally started by second generation cement mason Jim Wallace, and today owned and run by his son Matt Wallace a third generation cement mason. The focus since day one has always been customer service from start to finish and quality over quantity. When quantity gets involved it often is at the expense of quality!

I did not use this company’s service, however a neighbor did. They began pouring concrete at 6:25am — which is too early. The cement truck woke me and my 16 month old child up. When I confronted them the owner knew they couldn’t start before 7am but told me to call the police and have them give him a ticket anyway. That is not a respectable way to present yourself to your customer’s neighbors, or to anyone, when you are clearly in the wrong and you know it. That reflects on character.

I have been a homeowner for nearly 20 years. In that time I have worked roofers, plumbers, painters, hangers and mudders, but I’ve never had quite as positive as I’ had this summer with Matt at The Concrete Company. Matt has exceeded my expectations with customer service, quality and attitude. I am a selling professional who sets a very high bar on customer service and I can say emphatically Matt exceeded my expectations every step of the way. If contractors can do one thing to really aggravate me, it is to make me guess when they might show up next. Matt has solved this most fundamental requirement and delivered EVERYTIME he said he would deliver. Visually his work is beautiful. I am no expert on concrete stamping by my neighbor is a commercial construction project manager and he lauded Matt’s work every step of the way, from the compacting of the gravel to the final texture and tinting, all of the work is top notch. Finally is Matt’s attitude. He is just a friendly guy who takes GREAT pleasure in doing world class work. His crew seems to feed off Matt’s nature and great attitude. I can’t say enough good things about the experience I’ve had with Matt and The Concrete Company, and I’d certainly recommend him to a friend, neighbor or family member. Thanks Matt!
