I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. Convenient delivery, delivered in the time promised. My Chopped Steak was excellent, but the Baked Potato stole the show. Perfectly tender and moist, not under-cooked(ew) or dry(even worse!). Lettuce on the salad was fresh with no wilting or brown. In short, quite a decent meal for a steak delivery. In contrast, I had a chopped steak a couple or weeks ago at a sit-down restaurant that was dry and tasteless with a potato that tasted like it had been cooked a week ago. Much more pleasant experience with Steak-out!

STEAK! DELIVERED! If you need more convincing than that, read on. I’m reviewing this from the perspective of a person in a hotel without a car who didn’t feel like walking the sub-freezing highway to eat, not even just across the street. Lazy, I know, but admit it, you’ve been here. From my perspective, Steak-Out was near perfection. I reviewed their menu online then called when ready. It would be nice if their website had an overall location map so that visitors could see which was closest, but some quick Google Maps search told me this one was for me. I ordered a 9 oz ribeye which came with a roll, baked potato and small side salad. I added a piece of triple chocolate cake and a 20oz Coke. The total was less than $ 25, less than $ 30 after I tipped. Online ordering is not available, and I had to read my credit card over the phone. I’m not a fan because that can lead to errors, evidenced by the multiple times I had to read back information. I lost track of the time, but I’m pretty sure they were close to the promised 30 minutes. I offered to meet in the lobby, but they happily walked it up to my room. The steak was tightly wrapped in foil, which kept it warm but didn’t keep some of the juice from leaking out into the styrofoam takeout box. The potato was likewise wrapped and hot enough to melt butter. The roll wasn’t wrapped but had some heat from the other two. Along with the salad, they included one dressing pack, two Country Crock spreads, a sour cream packet, and two packaged silverware sets. One was just a fork, presumably for my cake. I’m spelling out everything so that you can see they totally took care of what I needed to have a meal. I’ve ordered takeout/delivery before, only to find out back in the room that I had no utensils or something else equally ridiculous. Don’t worry about that here. They thought of everything you need. I had no trouble eating the steak in the takeout box, either. Although the knife scored the box, it didn’t cut through. I ordered the steak medium and was pleased to see it cooked perfectly. IMO the steak didn’t need any additions, although there were salt and pepper packets in both silverware packs. The steak had an interesting flavor, almost sweet but not overly so. I devoured every bite with pleasure before moving on to the potato and salad. The potato was cooked well, and the salad seemed fresh. The cake was very delicious, probably not in the running for any awards, but great for a delivery place. All-in-all this was a fantastic choice for dinner tonight, and I will keep them in mind when my plans take me to Huntsville again. It brought back find memories of the steak delivery my wife and I used to frequent in Abilene, TX, when we first married. Sure, you can cook yourself a better steak on your own grill. But if you didn’t bring the grill in your carry-on, you can’t go wrong here. Reread the top line. If you’re not sold, you might not actually like steak.

For delivery, this is great! Big portion of food for good money — the NY cheesecake is excellent

Great food and fast delivery. Steaks always cooked the way I’ve ordered. My order has never been messed up. Love this place.

Like Dale’s sauce(take soy sauce and add salt to it until it won’t dissolve anymore)? Well this is your place. They put the stuff on practically everything they serve. If it’s a form of meat it will be so saturated with Dales’s sauce that’ll make you instantly dehydrated. The owner owns many restaurants around town. He opened a place called«Shaggy’s Burgers and Tacos» that serves the exact same Dale’s sauce saturated burger as you can get at Steakout. The owner also sold off all of the Steakout franchise everywhere except in the Huntsville area and those places have better food and a more extensive menu.

Had a hankering for a burger, so I wandered into the Steak-Out just down the street from work last night. Wasn’t very hunger so I just ordered a «Child’s Burger», came with a bag of chips. Girl at the counter asked me how I wanted it done. I replied, «medium», she responded, «medium-well»? Already off to a bad start. Well, waited a good 10 to 15 minutes for a kiddie burger. Observed the guy manning the grill poke my burger several times with the spatula while it was cooking(guess he wanted to make sure all the juices came out, o geez). When I finally got back out to my car to consume the burger, it was alright, but nothing special. Had a bit of a funky taste to it also. For $ 3.99, felt it was lacking value. Hey, it is what it is, had never been to a Steak-Out before last night. The only reason I might go back if I was in the mood for a Sweet potato. Other than that, just can’t see bothering with all the other choices about.

There are no tables so have a place to go or just order in. Its fast food steak, I enjoyed my rib eye sandwich but I was expecting thinly shaved Ribeye meat cooked like a philly cheese steak, which is a much easier eating sandwich. I ate it in my rental car since I am a visitor here and it was a lunch stop. In retrospect I don’t see this as a good choice if you are visiting a job site. I personally would have enjoyed it more with a table and chair. I broke my «NOFASTFOOD» rule and although not a complete disaster not to my higher standard expectations. Not everyone has an unlimited budget, If I want a steak I’m going to a real steak house.

Deliver or take out-only restaurant. One of my favorites! Their hamburgers are amazing and their chocolate cake is even better! Never have to wait that long for food. The employees are always friendly and nice.

Delivery or take-out only, no tables. Call them if you’d like a steak or chicken dinner delivered, or if you want to pick it up and take it somewhere to eat. The food is very good You can also go there, place your order, and wait on a bench about 15 minutes while they prepare it. However, I don’t care much for sitting and waiting.

I’m come here almost daily for lunch now, for fast food, you simply can’t beat Steak Out! Each time I get lunch here, I get a Cobb salad. I call in my order and it is always ready for me by the time I get there, which is saying something considering this place is a very popular lunch spot. The Cobb is delicious, with ham, bacon, chicken, and eggs providing a great source of protein that will give you the energy push through the afternoon. I’ve ordered dinner once or twice and have found the sauce used on the steak and chicken to be rather salty, but if you want a steak but don’t feel like busting out the grill, you can’t go wrong ordering here. Be aware: this place is take out/delivery only so if you come here expecting to sit down, there are no tables! You will always be greeted happily by the friendly staff members who work very efficiently and own the lunch rush! Great job, guys. Don’t let the exterior of the place fool you. Inside the shady-looking shopping center directly behind the gas station on the corner of Madison and Zierdt lies a very solid lunch option.

I live in Madison park apartments,(2 seconds from location) and they are awesome on a lazzy day(since I do all the cooking) and there flat iron steaks are tender and delicious. Its to go food the way to go food should be. Hot, fresh and individually wrapped items, all sides for potatoes on the side. Price is fair for how much you get. I am more pleased ordering here then getting a crap overpriced steak at Logan’s craphouse(ill save that for the red necks and don’t know betters) we have ordered about 12 times in 8 months and not one was a disappointment. Can’t really eat foam containers so we just plate it at home.

I have drove by this place numerous times and never thought I’d like it, until my coworker recommended it to me. The food is surprisingly decent, as a fast-food-ish place. All steaks are char-grilled, but juicy & tender. All meals come with a drink. My favorite is the Rib Eye sandwich. My least favorites are the chopped steak(too salty) and the salad(boring iceberg lettuce leaves). I would give it a 3.5 stars, but I am knocking it down to 3 stars for the Styrofoam containers.
