STAY AWAY– The owner is a shyster! I picked out a dress but wasn’t sure about it. Then the owner showed me another dress that I thought was comparable. It was an XS and I needed a Small. I couldn’t try it own because I was with my infant son so I asked the owner if I could return it if it didn’t fit. She said «of course». When I attempted to return it, she said she would only give store credit. She proceeded to say that she previously said it was store credit only– which is totally untrue. I JUST WANT TO KNOW– WAS IT REALLY WORTH LOSING MY BUSINESS FOREVER?

Tiny store packed to the brim with trendy clothes and shiny jewelry, Statements was a pleasant surprise find on Madison’s Main St. As I glanced around, prices generally ranged from $ 40-​$ 100, which is a little pricey for the average girl, but the clothes are of good quality and pretty unique, so to some it may be worth it.
Perhaps my favorite things to look at were the purses, many of which were chunky, leather, metallic-​studded beauties. There is also a wide selection of jewelry, ranging from delicate&subtle to bold&flashy to even earthy&hippie.
Though I didn’t buy anything this time around, I will definitely be back to see what new things they stock up on next.
