Youssef A.
Business Owner
Nomad Travel was founded by Youssef Amraoui, a native Moroccan who now resides in the United States. Youssef grew up as the youngest son of a Berber family living a simple life on the oasis of Tafilalet, at the edge of the most famous sand dunes in the Sahara.
At an early age, Youssef began guiding travelers into the Sahara, sharing with them his culture and Berber heritage. As a native speaker of Berber and Arabic, he also became fleunt in Spanish, French and English. After earning degrees in English Linguistics and Hospitality and Tourism in Morocco, Youssef moved to the United States.
Following a decade of working in hospitality and traveling extensivley around the world, youssef fulfilled his chilhood dream and started Nomad Travel to organize and lead tours to Morocco, Egypt and Jordan.
