We specialize in custom design and installation of solar electrical systems for residential and commercial applications. We have a detailed construction background so we can integrate a solar system effectively inot your roof, framing and electrical system. We also focus on micro inverter based systems to maximize energy harvest.

History

Established in 2009.

We realized that most solar installers had minimal knowledge of roof systems and structural implications of solar. We have been doing solar installs in the Madison and Middelton area since then. We were one of the first installers in the area to use micro inverters to maximize system production in partially shaded locations.

We worked with Midwest Solar Power to install an 8-​panel solar photovoltaic system. Rik was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions and laying out each step of the process. Rik and the installation crew were very professional, organized and clean. The entire project was completed in a timely manner with no complications. The system works flawlessly and has helped us cut our home’s energy consumption substantially.
One of the great features that Rik included with our system is access to the online portal that tracks power output on a minute-​by-​minute basis. It is really cool to have this added information that shows how many Watts our system is producing as well as the total production over any time period we input.
We are extremely proud of the quality and performance of our system. We would like to expand it in the future and plan to work with Rik and Midwest Solar Power again. We are looking forward to many years of renewable energy in the future!
