History

Established in 1953.

Douglas W. Lambert started the business in 1953. His father was in the moving business in Opelika, AL. We moved to our present location in 1994. We have a 63,000 sq.ft. warehouse and a 12,000 sq.ft. climate/​humidity controlled warehouse.

We have a fleet of tractor trailers and straight trucks that we can run in 48 states. We are agents for Wheaton Van Lines.

We have won many quality awards from Wheaton Van Lines and from Cartus Relocation, one of the largest Relocation companies in the United States.

Graduated from The University of North Alabama with an accounting degree. Joined the family business in 1973. Lambert Relocation has been in business since 1953.
