Dr. Katie Hilst provides in home compassionate euthanasia 7 days a week. She serves Madison, WI and all of Dane, Iowa, Jefferson, and Green counties. After hour appointments are available if pre– arranged. Cremation is available. Dr. Hilst has over 10 years of veterinary experience, the past 5 years dedicated exclusively to home visits. Phone consultations are welcomed. Dr. Hilst can answer your questions about home euthanasia, answer your concerns about your pet’s welfare and provide guidance on deciding when the time is right.

History

Established in 2008.

Dr. Katie Hilst started Hilst Housecall Veterinary Services in 2008 as a result of her desire for personalized attention and care for her pet patients. She has a strong committment to providing compassionate, caring and peaceful home euthanasia and believes pets final moments should be in the comfort of their own home, in familiar surroundings, with the people they love.

10+ of veterinary experience, the past 5 yrs exclusive in-​home care and euthanasia. Now dedicated exclusively to home euthanasia in the Madison Wi and surrounding areas including Dane, Iowa, Jefferson, and Green counties.

UW Veterinary School Graduate. Dr. Hilst is caring and compassionate, dedicated to making your pets last moments comfortable and peaceful.
