Started brewing August 2011, first selling beer in September. Brews on repourposed dairy equipment. Started Wisconsin’s first «Community Supported Brewery».

House of Brews tap room is nothing special, but very charming! The beer is good, the people are friendly, and you can enjoy a board game and a beer. If you are over near Monona, stop by for a beer. It’s worth the trip, especially since the taps are all experimental and rotating!

Awesome, tiny, and a very hidden gem! They have beers that are just about as fresh as you can get. It is easily accessible, they have friendly staff, FREE samples, jukebox with internet, wifi, and an assortment of board games. If you need some sustenance to soak up the booze there are plenty of delivery options. Did I mention it is also home to Mobcraft and they have a plethora of them for sale…

One of Madison’s best kept secrets. They basically sell you delicious beer from their closet. You can bring in your own food and they are always a hoot to talk with. Excellent beer, almost like a bunch of wild brewing artists got together to start a brew coop. Nothing holding them back from trying new creative things with their beers!

House of brews brews and sells very good beer. This is the most important thing to remember — very good beer.
The establishment itself is quite small — comfortably seating about 20 or less. They sell most beers in a plastic pint cup for about $ 5. They have board games to play if you want to chill and drink in the facility or they also offer plenty of «to-​go» options for some really good prices!
The place is back in the industrial park but with a little wanderlust you will easily find it! Definitely worth a visit to experience something new and delicious!

You can find House of Brews on tap around Madison, but go straight to the brewery tap room to experience House of Brews at it’s best. There is nothing pretentious about this little place — a few tables, some funky art on the walls and board games to keep you and your friends occupied — make this the tap room a very chill experience. Best thing about visiting the tap room is the chance to see the brewmaster in action; he’s at the front pouring your beer, at the tanks making your beer and in the tap room talking about beer. He obviously has a passion for what he does! Located in an industrial park, it’s not easy to find, but definitely worth the it!
