Bought a prelit«yuletide tree» last year from this store. I just took it out of the box to find that part of the lights were not working. When I called the store they told me to call the manucturer. The box only lists Hobby Lobby as the manufacturer. I guess they wanted me to break into their private manufacuring files and call China. Bad cusomer service and a bad witness from a supposed Christian company. Also why is this Christmas tree called a yuletide tree Hobby Lobby?

This store is fantastic. I love how everything is made in China. They are such a Christian country; it is good to support them financially. I also appreciate how the owners understand that the morning after pill only prevents fertilization, it does not abort anything. They obviously have read the basic information about this. Most of all, I appreciate how they used to pay for birth control, but refused to do it under the affordable care act. It shows consistency.

Hobby Lobby is the love child of Michael’s/Joanne Fabrics and Pier 1 Imports, so clearly it’s a dream for any domestic god or goddess looking to get crafty and spice up their home! This location is one of the biggest I have ever been to, with endless aisles of knick-knacks, decorations, candles, fixtures, knobs, frames, etc. They also have an expansive selection of outdoor and garden decorations if the exterior of your abode needs a little something! It seems they play up the home goods section here more than the craft section, which was at at back and not nearly as prominent or organized. Still, they had a good variety of crafty and DIY items at decent prices!

Hobby Lobby is just fun! We dont have this place on the west coast, of course there are many other craft type stores, however none like Hobby Lobby. There are many great things about this place, but a few stand out to me and are the reasons I will keep coming back. Deals every week — they are consistently offering categories with 50% and they rotate each week, then there are other categories at 30−40% off. They also offer a weekly coupon which designates a category or item at 40% off! Sign up for the weekly ad and coupon info on their website! More than just fabric and ribbon — Hobby Lobby has an extensive variety of home décor, photo frames, memo boards, baskets, cake decorating supplies, party supplies, seasonal items the list goes on and on. Art supplies — as an Amateur artist, I don’t want to break the bank spending money on paint, brushes, and canvas with their deals I can get the supplies I need at a discount and they have a very wide variety. Custom framing — they offer custom framing and if you catch it on the right week, it is 50%! If you enjoy any home crafting or decorating this is the place to go. If you just want a unique frame or piece of furniture this is the place to go, and if you want to enjoy some time browsing unique craft ideas this is the place to go! They are closed on Sundays so their employees can worship, that is wonderful too and each ad runs Monday — Saturday.

As the father of 4 young children, I love this store. Whether we want to buy crafty supplies to have an activity on a rainy weekend, school supplies that would be hard to find anywhere else, educational toys, toy planes, face paints, party supplies, etc — you name it and I find it there. I know they also have tons of fake plant stuff, ‘Pier One’ type housewares, framing and other stuff. Most of the people that are there seem to be there for those things, but I know that if I want to start coin collecting with my son, the penny books will be there. If my daughter wants princess stickers to decorate her room, from one inch high to two feet across, they will be there. If we are looking for an activity for a bunch of kids, I can find a paint-your-own-cardboard-house or a beading kit for 6 kids or a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game. Or, if we want a pirate party, they have cheap kids telescopes, pirate patches and fake doubloons. In our family, this is the first place to check when birthdays or holidays roll around. One quick trip and Hanuka shopping is almost done.
