We carry made from scratch breakfast pastries include croissants, chocolate croissants, Danishes, bagels, bialys, scones, muffins, and sticky buns. We offer a made to order breakfast menu including waffles, quiche, French toast and biscuits and gravy. Your lunch menu has two made from scratch soups daily, plus sandwiches and salads. For eat in or carry.

We offer catering for small to medium sized groups, from morning breakfast buffets, business luncheons to dinner meetings and everything in-​between. Call or e-​mail to set up a catering consultation to get your party or event set in the right direction.

History

Established in 2011.

Heritage Bakery & Café is co-​owned by David and Denien Sramek, a husband and wife team who both graduated from

The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

From an early age, Denien has many memories of being in her grandparents restaurant in Duluth, MN and has continued the tradition of making locals smile through the pastries and desserts she produces.

David has returned to his hometown of Madison to emark on his philosophy of creating simple honest food. He has studied under Wisconsin native, Chef Michael White, who redefines the seascape of high-​end Italian cuisine with the opening of his third New York City restaurant, Marea.

Our heritage has been an important part of our lives and we would like to share some of our inspirations with you. We look forward to seeing you in the bakery & café soon!
