History

Established in 2002.

After years of experience is the graphic design, advertising, offset printing and pre-​press fields, I started doing freelance design around 2001. I started Hannes Design studio in 2002 and have been working with many clients from Wisconsin and all over the US from a variety of industries.

Meet the Business Owner

Tom H.

Business Owner

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin — Madison in Art/​Graphic Design, I worked for the UW Extension Printing Services while a student, designing and laying out different publications for the University. After graduating, I took a job for a Monona, Wisconsin based color-​separator doing high-​end Photoshop work, file trapping and film separations. I later worked in the design department for an offset printer in Janesville, Wisconsin where I learned the in’s and outs’s of design and how it relates to the offset printing business. This led to my position as Art Director for an in-​house advertising agency for the Verlo Mattress Factory Stores. There I was responsible for the creation and management of all print materials and advertising for all of their franchises across the country.

In the Spring of 2002, I went freelance and started Hannes Design creating freelance graphics for a wide variety of clients across the county.
