Based in Madison, Wisconsin, The Geo Group was founded in 1991 as an advertising agency with extensive expertise in audio-visual services. The company changed its focus to professional translation services and interpreting services as a result of The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) passing in 1995, which increased the demand for translation in the United States. Today, The Geo Group’s translator, linguist, and interpreter network encompasses over 60 countries. Global contractors communicate with the Madison, Wisconsin-based headquarters and sales offices in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Georgia Roeming is the owner and sales manager of The Geo Group, actively managing sales, marketing, administration, personnel, and finance for the company. Georgia is a powerhouse in the industry and has long been involved in the community and profession, founding the International Television Association (ITVA), co-founding the Association of Language Companies (ALC), and serving on the foundation board for the American Advertising Association, Madison Chapter.
