Dads Towing

My car broke down in the middle lane during rush hour. Yay. Dad’s towing answered immediately and said they’d have someone out ASAP. A guy calls me back maybe 4 minutes later saying he’s in the truck and that he will be 15 minutes away. Showed up right at 15 minutes, hooked my car up, we drove to a nearby gas station to finish the paperwork and off he went. No complaints here! Good service. It was $ 80 but that’s comparable to what I’ve paid before.

A good clue that this establishment cares nothing about you is indicated the moment that you arrive. You are required to stand out in the hot sun/​rain while they take your information through a tiny slit in the window of their air-​conditioned room.
This is a brand new million dollar building, yet they couldn’t install a cheap awning to keep us out of the rain?
That is the least of their problems though. We were charged $ 383.88 for two tows and three days of storage because they wouldn’t release our car.
The girls in the office have the brain equivalent of a bag of rocks. They made mistakes that caused me to have to leave and come back three different times, the last one being they didn’t have change. «Sorry, I forgot to tell you», was what she says, I’m giving them 380 $ and they gripe over 3 bucks. Then after getting the correct change I had it wrong by 50 cents and she made me leave again to get that.
This place is the worst, they make their living off of other people’s misfortune. How do they sleep?
Use your local gas station for tows, at least they aren’t stealing for a living.

TERRIBLE. Very Rude on the phone when I called for towing assistance, I didn’t know the exact clearance on the parking garage (and clearly didn’t have a tape measurer on hand). I gave an estimated clearance range, they smarted off to me, and then hung up on me. If I ever have to call a tow truck company… it won’t be this one.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Yesterday evening my truck decided not to start after stopping at the Walgreens by our house. It had been giving me fits for about a month now. I contacted Roadside Assistance and arranged one of their providers to tow it to our house which was just under 2 miles away.
I wish I would have gotten the guy’s name that came to my rescue. He called me when he was about 5 minutes away. Just like I was told that he would. Upon meeting him in the parking lot after hours, I was greeted with a very positive and courteous man.
He had my truck up on his flatbed in no time at all. Once we got to our place, he was kind enough to ask where I would like him to drop off my vehicle. We both decided where the best location would be. This involved him backing into our yard to the side of the house. Most people would have panicked considering the ground was quite wet from the afternoon rain we had, but not me. This gentleman had already shown me his level of professionalism and I had no doubt at all that he would be cautious enough not to tear up the grass.
As quickly as he has picked up my truck, he had it unhooked and parked where it should be. This all took place at 1:15am. Now knowing when it happened will prove why this review is as glowing as it is. I will use this company again, even without Roadside Assistance. I will also give their name first if any of my friends or family are in need.

Bait and Switch. I called to have my truck towed and was VERY clear as to what my truck was. They quoted one price but once they had my truck hooked up added $ 10 to the bill because the truck was an F 350. I have had it towed once before, twice the distance for $ 25 less. I called to voice my displeasure and was told someone would get back with me, and of course no one ever did.

Great service! Steve showed up around the time Roadside said they would arrive. We looked at some reviews if Dad’s Towing and got a little nervous! We got a courtesy call when he was 20 minutes out. That was nice. We were in hot and humid weather in a hardware store parking lot off the freeway heading from Arkansas to Ohio when our alternator went out. We had our two medium-​sized dogs with us that we had warned them about. When he showed up, he was so nice and ready to get on with the game plan. He got my husband, me, and my two dogs into the ac right away. He quickly loaded up and secured my car. He took is to where we needed to buy and install an alternator and made sure to unload us into the shade to work on the car. He did not hassle us. If we had any cash I would have tipped him $ 20 and not complained if he needed $ 15 (as another reviewer had mentioned having to pay). Overall, this towing service did a paramount job in a lousy predicament. Thanks, Dad’s Towing! Or Steve!
