Adorable! Right in town and the inside is so cute. The cupcakes are amazing and moist. Delicious! They could have a wider variety but still I will be going back!

I LOVETHESECUPCAKES!!! They are fresh and delicious and come in a variety of flavors that are all amazing. The workers are also really nice too!!! The best cupcakes there are the minis because you can eat a variety of flavors and not feel too stuffed.

Love love love this place. I went in an hour before closing and their cupcake case was still full and had such a selection. I was a little nervous as sometimes going into a bakery that has a full case before close means the cupcakes are stale or they aren’t very good and cupcake fiends like me don’t go there. I was wrong on both. The cupcakes were moist, flavorful and beautiful. They hit all three of the things I look for in a good cupcake. Prices were competitive. I bought a dozen different cupcakes and my total was $ 36 and some change. Definitely stop in here when your in the area. I want to come back to NJ just for this place

I couldn’t decide which cupcake to buy so I bought a few minis. Oh. My. Gosh. Snickerdoodle cupcake is seriously one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Super moist and the cookie on top was amazing!

My wife goes here often to buy mini cupcake to bring to work for special occasions. When she goes, she will always bring us home a couple. I have not been disappointed once. I really like the mint cupcakes with the chocolate chips in the frosting.

I think I tried every cupcake from Crowley. The snickerdoodle is so delish. It has to be my favorite one from there.

These were amazing! I tried some minis and they were all awesome. The girl at the counter could not have been sweeter, and prices were good. Highly recommended!

Cupcakes look amazing. Taste was disappointing, especially for the price. For the hype and the cost, I expected spectacular. I got«ok». My kids didn’t even like the cupcakes. The majority of two pricey cupcakes — one cookies and cream and one chocolate — ended up in the trash can outside.

I love cupcakes so naturally I had to check out this shop while in town. The shop itself is very spacious. There were also a variety of flavors. I got the red velvet(to compare), snicker-doodle, and mint chocolate chip. They also offer minis which is great for testing out different flavors . As for the cake itself– it was a little dry but the dense icing made up for it . Four stars for being cheaper than most cupcake places and offering a variety of flavors. Three stars for overall taste and texture.

Best Carrot Cake Cupcake I’ve had in NJ(aside from ones from Whole Foods). Frosting is a bit too sweet for my taste(I prefer whipped cream based than buttercream but won’t hold that against them) came in around 4pm on a Saturday and got the following: Reg. Carrot Cake Cupcake– great moisture, from a good mixture of pineapple bits, raisins, carrot shreds. could use a little more spice but all around good cupcake! Mini Pink Lemonade Cupcake: Good pink lemonade flavor. Filled with lemon mousse. Fun little cupcake for Easter!

LOVE this bakery ! Not only do they have delicious cupcakes, but they have soft and yummy cookies as well(my favorite is the sugar cookie with sprinkles) ! I’ve also noticed HUGE cinnamon rolls that look awesome. Beside the treats — the staff there is always friendly and the location is great.

I think we have tried EVERY cupcake flavor this place has to offer… and loved them all! This is our go-to for when we’re bringing a dessert somewhere. Love them!

Perfect minus the fact that the cupcakes are refrigerated which makes for some hard frosting if you cannot wait to maul your cupcake. We tried the red velvet, cookies and cream, chocolate covered pretzel and birthday cake. The two faves were cookies and cream and the chocolate covered pretzel. Yum.

Great cupcakes. Large selection of regular cupcakes. I came across this because my niece is gluten free and they came up in the Unilocal search. I had a vanilla cupcake w/vanilla icing which was amazing. I loved the icing, super sweet but hit the spot. My niece had a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing. She was hesitant bc apparently good gluten free cupcakes are hard to come by. She loved it though! I just wish they had a bigger selection of gluten free baked goods for her. Overall, great experience with friendly staff and GOOD gluten free cupcakes.

I never knew that snickerdoodles could be this good — crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, the perfect blend of flavors. Mmmmm. Sorry, where was I? Oh yeah — also the best chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies I have ever had(sorry, Gram). I was a skeptic about the whole cupcake thing, but I can say that I have been won over. These were well worth the money, and this will be a must-stop whenever I’m in Madison. p. s. I have no idea what a previous reviewer was talking about related to refrigerated display cases and hard frosting.

I am a huge cupcake fan! Since having to go gluten free there has been a cupcake shaped hole in my heart. One day while walking through town I thought I would just pop in to Crowley’s and see if they ever made gluten free cupcakes, and much to my surprise they did! These have got to be the best gluten free cupcakes I have ever had. They are almost indistinguishable from their gluten-filled cousins. They are moist, not too dense, not gritty, and the frosting is delish! I am so thankful for them… highly recommended!

Store interior is cute enough, but they just had two big refrigerated cases(a la Italian bakery style) for their display — didn’t really look too appealing. Cupcakes are similar to Crumbs in style and flavors, which is not really my cup of tea. I selected a mini red velvet — the cake was moist enough, but the buttercream was so thick and hard from being too cold in the refrigerated case that it was inedible. The bf literally threw it out the window… Btw they renamed their store«Crowley Cupcake».
