There was 3 of us getting our nose pierced. At first bc of the place I wasn’t so sure. Dave was very clean very organized. I out of three was the jumpy baby and he was awesome. We have heard so many amazing thing about him… They were all true!

When I turned the ripe age of 18, a good friend and I decided that we should get our nipples pierced. We’re about 40 minutes away from Body Expressions, however even in my area everyone says that Dave’s is the place to go. When we arrived, we were a little sketched out at its kind of warehouse exterior and we didn’t know it was also a gym. But we were on a mission, so we stepped inside (which was more friendlier btw). After signing waivers and providing ID, we were good to go. I was nervous because this was my first piercing besides lobes, but Dave was super professional and he’s also got this witty sense of humor that puts you at ease. So yeah, numbing cream on for 15 minutes then boom the ladies were pierced. He gave plenty of advice on the healing and also provided a sheet of instructions. It was $ 40 for that outing. And then I went back for my belly button, my rook, and my conch. all of which were $ 25 separately. Which is an awesome price! It’s definitely worth making the drive. I’ve only experienced trouble with my belly button which got a weird bump on it, but I messaged him on his Facebook site and he provided answers to my questions and how to fix it the next day.

I will preface this by saying I’ve never used this place as a gym, although the facilities always look nice.
I travel from Charlottesville to get pierced by Dave. I really think he is the best piercer in the area. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and just a really cool dude. The prices are really low for what you would normally pay. I’ve never had any problems with infections or even that bump you get above your nose with a nose ring. The piercing room is clean and well-​maintained.
I’ve had my nose pierced at two other shops before, and they do not compare.
