History
Established in 2013.
Baxter’s Backyard started with the idea that our animal companions should have a comfortable and familiar home to stay when their owners are away. This gives all owners piece of mind that their dog will always have human contact and supervision.

I am a California transplant and have lived in Madison for eight years. I grew up with animals and have always enjoyed taking care of them. I am an attorney by trade but am taking time off to enjoy life and homestead. In my free time, I love to cook, garden, and scrapbook. I own two dogs of my own and am often known by my friends as the «dog whisperer of Madison.» I love all dogs and am extra careful to make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable. I am protective of all my dog guests and treat each one as if they are my own– each one gets a morning kiss and evening pat and lots of belly rubs.
