Virginia Foam Insulators is a Veteran Owned business started by James Kuhn in 2007. Today, Virginia Foam Insulators is Central Virginia’s regional expert in the installation of Closed-​Cell and Open-​Cell Polyurethane spray foam insulation. We also install a full range of insulation products and systems to include Injection Spray Foam, Dense-​Pack Fiberglass, blown-​in and batt Fiberglass. We bring it all to you for less than the competition. We can help you make an informed decision in regards to which products best meet your needs.

Our employees are knowledgeable in home construction and have years of experience in the application and installation of Spray Foam products. Each employee has undergone intense training in both the field as well as in the classroom, giving you the confidence you need that the job will be done right. Our employees are also highly skilled, reliable insulation installers and project managers who have met rigorous standards for performance and work ethic.

In addition to our technical installation expertise, we utilize blower door testing as an in-​house diagnostic and quality assurance tool. The use of this equipment sets us apart from traditional Virginia insulation contractors as well as other Polyurethane contractors. This equipment gives us the ability to diagnose existing problems, quality-​assure our installations as the work is being done, and verify and quantify the quality of our installations…

History

Established in 2007.

Virginia Foam Insulators is the Richmond areas expert in the installation of Closed-​Cell and Open-​Cell Polyurethane spray foam insulation. Headquartered just outside Lynchburg, Virginia, in nearby Monroe, we cover the entire state of Virginia and have performed jobs as far away as Georgia, as well as in the surrounding states of Maryland, West Virginia, and North Carolina. In August 2009 we also performed our first job in Washington D.C., to help the ABC show, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, build and insulate The Fisher School, a D.C. based family support center. This show aired in 2010.
