History

Established in 2010.

I started out just doing cakes for friends and family. It soon became a constant request, so I thought to myself «why not create a small business?». And that’s exactly what I did! My goal within the next year is to eliminate the need for my current full time job and focus entirely on cakes full time. This will allow me to be at home with the kids and spend more individual time on each order.

Business Owner

Who am I? I am a mother, wife, daughter and sister. My family is the world to me. I am a «work-​a-​holic» as I am constantly working, shuffling to/​from the kids’ school/​sport schedules, and helping maintain my husband’s small business.

I have worked at a the same law firm for the past 12 years and now currently maintain my small, at home, cake business.

I am one of «those» people that LOVE school. I currently have a Bachelors in Journalism, a Certificate in Paralegal, and have worked toward a Masters in Criminal Justice. Education is vital to me and I believe that you should never stop learning. I will eventually go back to school to obtain a certificate in culinary art.

Finally, I believe that I have a Type A personality and strive for perfection. By this time, I have done 100+ cakes and with each one, I still pick it apart and look to see what I can do better. I will never be perfect, but I will continue to try.
