Our Service Department Team services all makes and models. We specialize in furnace and heater repair, air conditionoing and AC repair. We install gas-​elec units, package units, split systems, commerical units, ductless mini splits, water heaters, tankless water heaters, and condensing units. Our team also specializes in new construction residential and commerical projects.

Purl’s Sheet Metal was founded in 1952 by Emmett & Mary Purl as a general sheet metal shop to serve Madera County. As the San Joaquin Valley grew, so did Purl’s Sheet Metal.

Today Purl’s Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning is a well established and trusted business in the Cental Valley. Our company takes pride in investing in new advances in technology to better serve our customers.

Called for an A/​C replacement quote. Promptly arrived at agreed time early Monday morning. The affable estimator was easy to talk to, and didn’t speak down to me. Seemed very knowledgable. Basically it became the benchmark for subsequent estimates. Competitive quote. Ultimately when choosing a contractor to replace your A/​C, it comes down to price and trust. Purl’s had a reasonable price (I found you could do a lot worse), and while we finally went with another company, Purl’s would’ve had my total trust to do the job right.

Owning a rental home out of town makes it hard to get companies to do service for you via just a phone call. So many wanted me to drive to the business and make the necessary arrangements and made me feel as if I was inconveniencing them with my questions. I then remembered my parents had used Purl’s back in the 1990’s so I gave them a call. From the moment they took my first call until the job was completed, I felt as though my business was appreciated and that I was not a bother. The office ladies kept in touch with me over invoices and Chris doing the job kept me updated with the work being done. The original A/​C unit was installed by their company back in the mid 1940’s and just recently stopped working, due to age. I gave them my tenant’s phone number and they even worked with her as to her availability to be home for them to come and go as needed for the job. I HIGHLY recommend this company! Professional, appreciative, availability, and honest. Very hard traits to find in businesses these days. THANKS PURL’S FOR SUCH GREAT SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE! MUCH APPRECIATED!
