History

Established in 1997.

Hydro Scrub’s beginnings came from the environmental remediation industry. At the time, our founder, a registered/​licensed Pennsylvania professional geologist had been working in the environmental remediation field for two decades and had routinely used hot water power washing equipment to decontaminate groundwater testing and remediation equipment before it was moved from one project site to the next.

Commercial and industrial environmental clients seeing this began asking if they could have some of their own equipment and buildings washed while the power washing equipment was already on-​site for their environmental project. Thus began the journey of Hydro Scrub. Hydro Scrub was «born» in February 1997 as a subdivision of an environmental remediation/​consulting corporation and operated as such until the end of 2007. In 2008, Hydro Scrub broke free from its parent corporation and began its own journey as a separate entity.
