Awful. Room smelled like wet dog, big stains on sofa, stains all over the carpet and something on the walls. Curtains don’t close, so it’s very bright in room at night, the Comfort Inn sign from next door lit up the room. Train tracks very close, so there was also that.

I decided to up the stars to 3 because its a really nice hotel and i dont think tge employee ment to not clean up the mess. It really is a nice hotel and I got a great rate from Expedia but looking around you can tell it needs some work. My room was ok, spacious, comfortable, new mattress and quiet but the caulking around the tub was all cracked and molded. The light on the night stand didnt work so I checked to see if it was plugged in and it wasnt. I pulled out the nightstand to find empty cups behind it with drink residue. I plugged in the light and it flashed like A strobe light. Next thing was the tv wasnt working correctly. wouldnt change channels with the remote or the buttons on the tv. Front desk came up with a key to move me to another room but she saw that the IR sensor for the cable box had fallen off the tv and fixed the issue. She offered to move me to another room but I declined. The lady at the front desk seemed really concerned and really wanted to make me happy and insisted I talk to the manager in the morning. I looked behind the tv and found several more drink cups and a wine cork. someone had a party and didnt invite me! Another issue was the hot tub by the pool. FILTHY. pool was clean though. Staff was very friendly. Over all its a great place to stay for the price. OK, I have to change my review a bit. I went down to the lobby and someone had spilled a drink, something with limes in it, on the elevator floor. I pointed it out to the clerk, a big puddle and two lime wedges. Well an hour later I went down to the lobby to get some chips and guess what, it was still there. The girl said she had nobody there to clean it up and she couldnt get a mop because they were locked up. When I went back to the room a little boy about 11 or 12 came out of the elevator, bare foot in his trunks going to the pool and he had stepped all in it. after this update I am going to get towels and go clean it up before someone gets hurt. Its not a small puddle, at least half the floor is a puddle.

Nice indoor pool. Room was very comfortable and convenient for family activities we had come for. Front desk staff was especially friendly. Wi-Fi was fine in the room and we had a pleasant and restful stay in between all of the activities of the three-day weekend. We’ll stay here again for the nice price we got on Hotwire.

I’m a regular patron of the Country Inn chain, but this was my first stay at this particular location. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with my stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but the hotel’s wireless Internet connection didn’t seem to be working. This was not a real problem, however, since I was able to use the unsecured connection from the Comfort Inn next door; the signal was strong enough to easily reach into my Country Inn hotel room. The real kicker for me were the trains that run on the track immediately behind the hotel. Yes, I said trains(plural) — I counted five of them during the night — and I definitely heard all of them. I asked the desk clerk about them the next morning, to see if that number was unusual, but was told that it was not. Unfortunate; that a nice hotel is so badly located.

Country Inn is to hotels as Cracker Barrel is to restaurants. Corporate yet cute and cozy. Our stay could not have been better. Front desk was super friendly, the bed was super comfortable, and the décor was charming. I really liked the country-themed lobby complete with rocking chair and bookcases. And everything was clean, clean, clean. Highly recommended! Oh, and I don’t know what the reviewer below is talking about regarding wifi being available only in the lobby. We had free wifi in our room, although it was really slow at times.

No functioning amenities and rude staff. When I checked in I had to wait for about ten minutes while the front desk attendant finished her phone conversation. I understand things happen so I let this go. Then she was confused about my reservation when she only had around 5 left for the whole day. When I got to my room I thought it was nice but I had a big day ahead of me so I wanted to work out and then relax in the pool. I was shocked to find that only one of the treadmills in the gym worked and while I was running on it at a pretty fast pace it just turned off on me. After this happened twice, I gave up and went to let the staff member know about the issue. I then decided I could work out in the pool and swim laps. Good thing I tested the water first because the pool was ICECOLD!!! I thought I would warm up in the hot tub and then get in the pool to swim but the hot tub was barley warm and the water was GREEN. At this point I discovered I couldn’t use any of the amenities I had paid for. When I spoke with the woman at the front desk about this she was short with me and impolite. She acted like I was a bother to her. I told her I should not have to pay full price when the equipment is all malfunctioning. She REFUSED to do ANYTHING! In the morning, I wasn’t surprised to find that there was not fresh fruit as promised and no orange juice either. Can they not go to the store? This hotel was awful and it added so much stress to my day. The general manager also refused to give me a receipt on the way out which I thought was really strange and even more unsettling. TERRIBLE!!!

We stopped here en route to Orlando, and were here long enough to change, sleep, shower, leave. It served all of those purposes well. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was fine-it hits all of the important points it needed to. The only issue we had-we were woken up about a half an hour before we needed to be by some very enthusiastic children in the hall. The walls are a bit thin, and their enthusiasm for their Disney trip was a jarring alarm clock. The staff at the front desk were full of southern hospitality-friendly, welcoming, and cheerful. I’d definitely be willing to stop by here again on our next road trip.

My wife, child and I were traveling back to Florida after visiting family in Tennessee and decided to stop in Macon. We made a reservation at the Country Inn and Suites for New Year’s Eve. First things first, we got a suite for $ 79; this was not a special price, this was just the regular list price. The suite was clean and spacious and it was an «actual» suite — there was a door separating the bedroom from the living room. We were provided with a crib for our child, which was also really nice as it saved me from having to dig the pack-n-play out of the back of the car. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, the staff was extremely accommodating and the provided hot breakfast was tasty. Country Inn and Suites is quickly becoming our hotel of choice for family trips.
