XFINITY Store by Comcast

Wow… it’s a Friday at 3pm and this location is semi empty. I am 3^rd in line … awesome seating in leather chairs, watching Dr. OZ. COOL TEMP too.

Did I accomplish what I needed. Yes, but it was the third try and the wait was over an hour. It’s like the Secretary of state but with not enough chairs so you have to stand.

Comcast SUCKS they charge people 199.00 for JUST Internet!!! There internet is the best but way too expensive! They won’t let me downgrade my Chanel’s so they give me a 20.00 discount for 1year but then they raise my bill 20.00 and don’t lower it! No wonder they only have 1 star reviews. I’m going to AT&T

First off, I came to this festering pile of shit already deeply disturbed by the human idiot breeding ground of Comcast.
Every «service representative» I’ve ever had to speak with on the telephone has made me contemplate ending it all– not even Korea did that to me and I saw some shit there, I tell you what.
Comcast is to bloated international media conglomerates what dog shit is to food– UNACCEPTABLE.
These filthy swine try to raise my rates every goddamn year. Every year I call them– sometimes as many as 6 times in a week. I always end up speaking with some kid with the personality of a wet dishcloth– I know you’re reading a script, but for fuck’s sake you sound like you’re the ghost of a ghost. Speak up sonny, I got an ear trumpet.
Anyways I had the severe displeasure of driving on Hall Rd aka SATANS BUTTHOLE to come to this pointless waste of brick and concrete where sanity goes to die– the Hall Rd Comcast Customer Service Center.
Can you even really call what Comcast does customer service? The specific evening I was there, I didn’t see a damn employee for 24 minutes– I know because I timed it on my pocket watch. I sat down for awhile and read some shit excuse for a news magazine (TIME, I think) while shit talking Comcast with the 10 other customers there and building up for my big moment.
When the dickfaced employee kid finally shuffled out of the back room (probably whacking off) he said he couldn’t help me with installing my TV box and I had to call some other number. I insulted him and said «it better be your mothers number, you ninny!» I then released what I had been building up– an egg salad sandwich fart that could knock the chrome off an old Chevy. A little turd came out but I wasn’t embarrassed.
I left, never to return again. That night I went home and ripped the cables out of my television set and read a book about whiskey while thinking of how to steal my neighbor’s cable.
I am ashamed that I even have to give this company ONE star. Comcast, I give you two middle fingers and a hearty «suck my dick».

There are over 50 people in the store right now and 0 people working. The sign in process was ridiculous. Hall rd is a zoo. Never coming back here. I would drop Comcast except no one else is available. This is crony communism. I live 45 min away

This store is horrible. Got there with 9 people in front of me. Took an hour and a half before I was called up. They had 6 people working there, but 1 was tied up helping somebody who obviously knew nothing about what they were getting so they took up the poor guys time, 2 were actually working by helping people, and then other 3 were behind the back counter, sitting back in their chairs gabbing and showing each other videos from Facebook on their phones. No wonder Comcast charges so much for their service when they have to pay for so many free-​loading employees that don’t do their job.

This place is a nightmare, it’s as bad as calling them for help. It’s not the employees fault, just not enough of them. Waited 40 minutes. Every customer in the place is angry and uptight. Comcast clearly does not care about the customer, we’re all just a number to them.

Not enough people working here. Helpful when you get them. Sooooo much nicer than the people who work the phones at the call centers…

As with all the other reviews — not enough customer service representatives. I was returning a tiny little box that costs $ 2.95 a month that was not working. 35 minute wait. As I was a new customer, I started asking questions, and this customer service representative only took on product returns; my questions were meant for another customer service rep, which means another line. No thank you. The hours are also not convenient; I had to get off work early to return the box that was broken.
Plus I had several issues with the online chat help box folks and phone personnel on my new account for less than 30 days old.
I am not impressed with Comcast customer service at all.

There is 20 people ahead of me, no exaggeration with all these one star ratings on your Xfinity stores you would think they would hire more than two employees to get these out of control lines and wait times down. If you want to get technical there is three people there is one lady on a tablet taking names at the door. I’m sure she could get switched out and people could just pull numbers or type there own name in. Proper signage would cover that or an automated recording that comes on as the door opens. Upon you giving you name to the lady with the tablet she will tell you 45mins. So if you have an hour plus to wait come down to your local xfinity store.
Might I add all the time spent with customer service on the phone to troubleshoot problems and also driving here.

What a horrible experience! I am sitting in the store and there are 37 people in line with 2 – 3 customer service reps. One lady alone took 45 minutes. The people are angry,
The line is not moving. Many people are here to just turn in equipment. If you want a receipt for the equipment for you must wait in a line that never moves. When it comes Comcast it is best to get a receipt, I didnt get one once before and the equipment never got credited from my account… And that caused another horrible experience to try to prove that I return the equipment.
Did I tell you I really hate Comcast/​Xfinity???

Service has been down or slow for months with comcast. Everytime I called they would schedule a tech and have to take the day off, then the tech would arrive and say he didn’t know why he was here and would call the customer service and just have them turn it back on. Now the code reads s0a00 non activation box even though it’s been working for months and months… well my next tech visit is five days from now so no tv or Internet for five more days… they denied a credit… they are the worst service in the world… go to Direct Tv now.

I have been to this location on 3 different occasions. As the prior previous reviewer stated: they have the booths, they have the technology, but they don’t have enough people serving customers. First time I waited 45 minutes before leaving, when I was told the wait was only 20, the second time the wait was about 1 hour 45 minutes. Just went there to drop off some equipment, I asked how long the wait was; the reply was that everyone who was there was there ahead of me. I replied that I understood they were there before me but I want to know approximate time and was told the way was an excess of an hour.
Comcast has terrible customer service in general. If you are looking for a cable provider look elsewhere.
If you are looking to drop equipment off, call the Xfinity 800 number and ask for a home pick up.

I live in the Dearborn/​Dearborn Heights area and one of your Xfinitys solicitors came up to our home. I was making lunch and he saw me through the window. I was busy and was not in the mood to talk to people and was about to let him knock and walk away, but then I felt the knob turn. The door was unlocked due to me just coming home not 10 minutes beforehand. The door began to open and i kept it shut and locked it right away. IN NO WAY should anybody enter our home without our consent. I am very displeased by this. If I had not caught the door in time he would have entered our home without our consent. He was most likely in his 50s, glasses, grey hair, tall and broad shouldered. Am unsure what location this man may be working for your company, however I believe it is something that needs to be brought up.

I had the displeasure of spending 2 full hours at this store. When I arrived I signed in and was placed in line electronically waiting to get my name called. This system is actually pretty cool since you can see up on the screen where you are in line… problem is that the line is very long, and customer service reps very few. I saw people coming in to ask questions about billing, to hire services, to return equipment, etc… and it took 2 hours before it was my turn and I was number 12. It seemed like there were only 3 people assisting customers, and by the time I left the line was up to almost 30 people waiting. People would come in, and just have to sit… like a 3^rd world rural med clinic waiting to get a malaria shot or something… People were upset as they waited for 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, and on and on only to see one person at a time moving along on the list every 10 minutes or so. All I needed to do was return the equipment, and even though I can do this via mail, I’ve had issues with that in the past with equipment not getting returned properly so I thought it’d be safer to do it in person…
My opinion is this center is properly equipped with the right number of customer service stations, and the right technology to process customer service cases effectively, just not enough people. I walked in mid-​week around noon, and it was a big waste of my time. I do hope they improve their service soon.
