Dan has personally been freelancing since 1980. Dan-​D Caricatures and Cartooning was incorporated in 2001.

Business Owner

Dan has been interested in cartooning since he was old enough to hold a pencil. Always doodling, Dan began to pursue the Commercial Art field after graduating from college. Living outside the Detroit area, it was natural to become in illustrator within the automotive field. Dan has worked fulltime as an illustrator in the automotive field from 1981 – 2009, all the while pursuing his passion freelancing caricatures and cartooning. Dan has been a fulltime freelance artist since 2009.
