Our Mission: Critical Training Group (CTG) has one goal and that is to provide the highest quality, most advanced training to our law enforcement and civilian clients that we possibly can.

We are law enforcement officers that continue to work and train in our fields, which allows us to continue to update and revise our training to provide the most advanced product to your department, agency or the individual officer. We will always continue to seek the most advanced training and strive to provide our clients with the most effective and cost efficient training packages we can.

Our mission, our goal, is a simple one and one that we feel has been overlooked in the training community. Provide the best training at the lowest cost to you, our clients. Our training philosophy is a combat orientated one built from our own real world experiences. Unlike many other training companies out there today, Critical Training Group (CTG) is made up of street seasoned veteran police officers, with real world experience, as well as special operation military backgrounds. Our company’s mission will always be to teach you to win, not just survive!

History

Established in 2010.

Starting out as a law enforcement training company we have morphed into not only law enforcement, but military and civilian training as well in the self defense realm. We specialize in all facets of use of force training from unarmed to armed combative.

Meet the Business Owner

Christophor P.

Business Owner

Chris Periatt is a 6 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, (Special Operations Capable), and served during Operation Desert Shield /​Storm. Chris was an Assault Section Squad Leader within a Weapons Platoon. Chris was an expert shooter receiving his 4^th award expert rifle and pistol badges while serving.

Chris has been a full time certified Police Officer for over 18 years. Chris began his career as a member of the Detroit Police Department Tactical Services Section. After only 18 months he was handpicked by senior level command and became a member of the elite Detroit Police Department Counter-​Sniper Team.

Chris moved forward to the St Clair Shores Police Department where he quickly became a member of the Emergency Response Team. Chris has served as a breacher, sniper, assault team member, point man and operator. He has served in the department training division, patrol division, fugitive recovery, traffic division and currently serves as the department’s K9 handler.
