History

Established in 2010.

I actually have always used things that others find as trash or ‘spent’ to make new things, mostly during a 7 yr span where my husband and I went through a VERY poor but educational period in our lives. That has leaked down into my pieces of jewelry, hair flair and pretty much everything I make. I then started selling from my basement for a fundraiser with my daughter’s travel softball team and with the help of Facebook I managed to ‘crawl’ out of the basement and into a brick and mortar and have yet to look back. I am extremely thankful every morning I get to wake up and unlock the doors to my store. and even more thankful when people walk through them lol

I have always been creative and a bit different and goofy and at an early age I would draw anything that offered shadows and challenges, mostly faces, I LOVED drawing faces but the nose escaped me for years. With having somewhat of an artist’s eye I have a knack or curse :) of seeing things other than what they are meant to be, for example the ‘wood’ interior of my moms Buick Regal, it was filled with odd faces. I saw a duck, with detail, in a broken pc of pork chop I grilled one day and at that point I was pretty sure my hubby considered committing me.heehee. As most ‘artsy’ minds, mine never shuts off and I have taught myself to create all kinds of things to feed that mind, lol. I like to say that some people think inside the box, others think outside the box and I dont even see the box!
