Cheap, clean. Nothing fancy, just a cheap clean place to sleep while on a road trip. That’s all I needed.

This darling little motel used to be called the North Park Motel… It has been there as long as I can remember. It has had several owners, I am sure. There is a very nice lady that looks like she may be from India… not sure… don’t care. she is a very kind and sweet lady. I think there are about 10 rooms, I could be wrong about that though. It was 50.00 per night. It is clean, no bugs, quiet, out of the way. It has a queen bed, a little space for a small fridge, a microwave and a little table for two. It has a desk and a night stand on one side of the bed. It has a nice dresser with color TV, cable, btw. it has a small bathroom with shower. I loved it. I was only there for three days, so I didn’t have the lady come in every day to make my bed etc… wasn’t there that much. I wish I remembered her name… I knew I should have written it down… LOL I am so bad with names. The first night I was there, my granddaughter wanted to stay with me, so we went to get some food.(some disappointing food from Happy Wok on N. Main, see review) and of course they didn’t give us any utensils. it was late and I really didn’t want to walk over to Gills. went to the office and«the kind lady» happened to have some plastic forks and knives for us… she said it happens all the time… I bought some before I left and gave them to her… Now if you aren’t sure where this is, it is on the service road between Shoreland Rd and Superior Dr. on the west side of N. Second. It was great and I highly recommend it to anyone that doesn’t want a fancy place that cost over 125.00 per nite…
